I liked Brown any time I seen him at County. Very similar to Brandon actually!

A decent move if it is short term to see how it works out and we do need cover at full back. This might surprise a few!

Do we know for sure if it’s until January or end of the season? Twitter account says one thing but article on club website says another

Club WhatsApp says 1year

One thing I'm not keen on with Kettlewell is that he isn't very forthcoming about injuries.

I think it was several weeks before he admitted that Tiffoney was injured and, even then, he was a bit vague about the nature of the injury.

I hope Brandon isn't going to be out for an extended period, but this signing suggests that he might be.

Think I read he’ll be out for around a month. Can’t remember where I seen it, maybe the Killie chronicle?

Quite a strange signing given SK presumably wants signings in other positions and we have a few others who could play RWB in the short term to cover injuries.

All of whom would have to be taken away from another area of the pitch, as we saw yesterday when Brannan had to switch back over and we had to bring in Thompson.

Which actually worked very well.

Thompson had a really good game and could very easily become a regular starter on the left, with Brannan on the right.

I hope Brandon is not out for long - but his absence certainly did not cause a problem.

Read this in the Killie Chronicle "So, with Brannan now brought over from the left side to play in his natural position, Brown has been drafted in as defensive cover." Also read something similar on the BBC. Brannan played at right wing back for Inverness when he went on loan, but he's not and never was a right wing back, he was a central midfielder, who is good enough to cover a variety of positions, I just hope his career doesn't suffer as a result of his versatility like happened with some other players.

Barring serious injury, Brannan is going to have a great career and I don't see versatility as a weakness.

His ability to play in various positions and not look at all out of place can only be a significant advantage.

The lad has shown that he has the ability to be in the team as a first pick.  That is different to someone who may be viewed as versatile but only gets slotted in to the team when there is a gap that needs plugged.

I think he is too busy enjoying being top of the league, so he asked me to post myself. Glad you happy with the signings though. Easy bunch to please.

What a strange thing to post on a Killie forum.
