No real surprise we’ve gone back to the back five. There’s not a lot of legs in the middle of the park. Polworth and Lowery should hopefully use the ball well enough but don’t see them doing the dirty running.

Polworth fine until someone tackles him then he's useless, woulda preferred Thomson sitting in front of the back line but hey ho

Another different shape and approach to a game...

Again seem baffled why Brannan is now just a bench warmer, when both wing backs have made errors but keep their place

Absolutely baffling. Very annoying

What would be the harm in starting ESB and Brannan?

Exactly. He shuffles the pack repeatedly but Brown and Deas seem bullet-proof.

I doubt Polworth and Lowery will see much of the ball.

And he seems incapable of making his mind up about TJJ.

As a Motherwell supporting pal told me from day one , "he tries not to lose games,  not to try and win them".

That lineup is proof

I don't think that's an unusual approach and away at Aberdeen on current form perhaps isn't a bad idea.

I get to an extent why Dom keeps his place cos he’s one of the few players who actually has a wee bit of pace but James Brown keeping his place over Brannan? Genuinely can’t fathom it. Hope he has a blinder today but on paper seems another strange selection.

I don’t expect our midfield to play a big part in today’s proceedings go on prove me wrong Killie.

Going by the wind forecast if either team don't keep it on the ground the ball will be skelping an oil rig.

Not a bad tactic to use , if the balls out in the North Sea they can’t score .
