CapitanColumbo Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 No surprise to see Roos continuing. McCann was visibly pissed off when asked if Max is coming back in. Stating Roos has done well (15? Goals shipped) Given Max is our guy and we have looked much better with him I’d rather have him in than a guy on loan who hasn’t looked spectacular. 4 Quote
Pride_of_ayrshire Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Just sub Thompson and Deas before the 85th minute both are usually solid up till that mark 0 Quote
Scouser2 Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Away from home you need to have a strong foundation and frustrate the home side Just hope the same defence selected can somehow cut out the basic mistakes and give us that platform 0 Quote
Barbinho Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Given the lack of TJJ I'd say that's a decent looking team. Hugill to repay some faith with a cheeky wee brace. 0 Quote
CapitanColumbo Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Went for Hugill first goal at 8/1. Think he can cause them some real problems with the ammunition from Curtis. 0 Quote
Dillinger Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 The Thompson thing is mad, even just since McCann came in hes cost a few 0 Quote

His matches are generally full of effort with a couple of f**k ups. Just needs to keep the heid. 1 Quote

Maybe giving McCann too much credit but I wonder if Max isn’t quite 100% ready and this is his way of backing Roos in the meantime and giving him confidence that he should consider himself number 1 until ousted. 0 Quote

kilm53 Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann tells BBC Scotland: "I think we are in a good place mentally. We were so disappointed to take nothing from the game on Sunday but later on when you get time to reflect you can see there was a lot of good to take from the game. "We've been playing a very attractive style of football and this game today provides an opportunity to get a big three points. "The pitch isn't perfect but it’s not two long-ball types of teams. We'll endeavour to try and get it on the floor and create opportunities but it's not going to be brilliant at times and we’ll try to deal with that. "But we're certainly not going to resort to route one football. That’s not who we want to be and we’ve been getting results with the ball on the floor so we’ll try and do that again today." 0 Quote
