General election not re-visited.

Anyway, the nurse has now said the BBC asked her to come back and ask that question after they didn't pick her for Question Time the week before.

Therefore, despite Sarah Smiths claim last night that it was the audience demand for questions on education that made them cover this devolved topic, it was in fact pre planned by the BBC.

Tons of posts from NHS staff annoyed about her comments in relation to  foodbanks etc and now she has came back saying anyone who is a nurse complaining about her comments is a disgrace.

Seems like an attention seeker.

Pot, Kettle.

You bleat on about him never accepting a contrary view and how he tries to discredit the people expressing them.

Then, in the same f**king post, there you are trying to discredit him to nullify his views.

You are a laughing stock.

Bit like Labour to be fair......

According to the daily record she is believed to send her daughter to a £11,000 a year private school.

Well at least the Record are reporting it!

I wonder how much the perceived anti Labour bias down South from the BBC has let them off the leash up here?

Things foodbanknursegate is not about-

1. BBC's conservative bias.

2. UK public sector wage cap.

3. The Uk governments living wage not being anywhere near enough to live on.

4. The impact of conservative austerity on public services.

Things foodbanknursegate is about -

1. #SNPbad

2. Cybernats/cybernatz

3. Wee jimmy Krankie/ wee Burnie being "rattled"

Welcome to political commentary uk style.

We have the most powerful devolved Goverment in the world.  WE have the best settlement of any part of the U.K.

absolute complete and utter s**te - the devolution settlement is hamstrung at best and has absolutely no power over the macroeconomics of our nation which can make any difference whatsoever.  This was arranged and gerrymandered by Labour.

And when we pay more in that everyone else except London by a considerable margin, we are entitled to a hell of a lot more than the current 25-30% of our f**king tax take back to spend in our hamstrung parliament.

Ruth the Mooth's mask slipped the other night - yours as a total and utter brit nat, hater of Scotland slipped this weekend as well.

Sadly it should have been about your first list but the inexperience and naïve stupidity of Joanna Cherry in diving in without a full grasp of the verifiable facts made it about the second list. That is nothing to do with BBC bias (although I will grant the BBC do have their own agenda.) this was just bad politics by the SNP who should know better.

Sorry but it has everything to do with BBC bias. This nurse should never have been given the opportunity to ask a question, which has absolutely nothing to do with this election. As our unionist friends are quick to point out, the NHS in Scotland is devolved, her question was irrelevant to the debate. Scottish MP's have no say on her wages. Any political commentator worth their salt knows this. The only explanation is the BBC had an ulterior motive. And as for unionists acting offended at the false suggestion this nurse was related to a Tory councillor, rather than the idea two Tory councillors were trying to pass themselves of as Joe Public; only demonstrates political bias has come to be the accepted norm from our state broadcaster.

Incorrect. Nicola Sturgeon has been elected by her party membership to lead, shape and communicate party policy to the general public. It is irrelevant whether she's standing for election or not.

When will you realise, B, they're never wrong. They know everything!!

The job with the nurse is a good'un. It's all about signalling the intimidation you're in for if you dare question them. Remember it's actually written into their constitution that no dissent is tolerated.

Haha, it's walking football, can't run in case your tights get a rip

It's actually very competitive with many ex pros playing. I'll let Brian Kilcline know of your comments. He would have played keepie uppie with you in both your days.

Anyway, it's good fun and banter, unlike on here.

I know you're a fan of "alternative facts", but when someone is clearly misinformed, it's only polite to help them with the truth.

Theresa May must be relieved that Andrew Neil allowed his Tory bias to show tonight otherwise she might have been in trouble...

So the story as I understand it is that the PM on a walking holiday in Wales decides to call a general election which she doesn't have to. In fact, she had expressly said that she wouldn't. Perhaps she couldn't help herself with Labour being a barely credible shambles.

But she declines to debate and hardly sets foot in public outside of party beanos. So far, still getting away with it.

Then she decides to include in her own personal manifesto a social care policy which she hadn't thrashed out with her cabinet. Public recoils in horror, ministers thrash around in interviews contradicting one another or, like Boris, just blustering.

Opinion polls slash Tory lead and PM is forced into backtracking rather than risk having Neil metaphorically remove her lower garment and give her  a good thrashing on pre-watershed TV.

An unlosable election is teetering on the verge of calamity as the idea of May presenting strong and stable - or even sane - resistance to Brussels becomes more risible. The prospect of Corbyn in No. 10 and negotiating Brexit is no longer just the stuff of nightmares.

If ever there was a time and a case for turning the clock back a year, we have just two more hours to do it. Where's Marty McFly?

Yeah when you've put Gregor Stevens on his back and he's s**t1ng himself when our trainer shouts " staun on his heid" , I just put out my hand and helped him up. He said, that guys nuts, I thought you had that look in your eye, I pissed myself laughing. So Kilcline's a pussy, just  because he looked tough with his perm and porno moustache.

Anyway, when did he emigrate to gods own country

If someone makes an incorrect statement then they should be corrected, what is intimidating about that, just you making things up because you made a prat of yourself ....again

Funny that, somebody should tell Kez & Ruth as they are obsessed by talking about her.

Independence won't be settled by this election either, not that you'd notice going by the leaflets I've had from Labour, Lib Dems and the Tories!

He hasn't. He's just one of the ex pros who plays that I'm aware of. Anyway, it's easy to make fun of it, but everyone who plays enjoys it and it's been great for guys looking to keep playing and as with all football it's very competitive, with all the bust ups that happen at every level.
