Sp3ckyh0td0g81
The last player of the same age that came in under that kind of role is now our Manager
ki11ie
He would be a excellent signing don't care what anyone says, he was one of rangers better players last year and was solid

piffer
As said above one of Sevcos better players last season. Before that he had been playing Prem and Championship football down South. Would be a decent role model for young players at the club and an experienced head in the team.
Killie65
I think he would be a good signing and would be excellent with the youth. Be interesting to see how he would cope on the carpet.
historyman
Why do we need another coach? Isn't McCulloch and Leven enough to coach the first team squad?

Coaches are like right backs, wait for ages then three come at the one time.

Plenty of clubs operate with more than the manager and his assistant. Since Locke took over we've had a manager with two coaches/assistants. My issue would be if there is room in the budget for someone else on the back room team I'd probably prefer an experienced coach rather than another rookie.

If we have the money then I would prefer it was spent on a player. A manager and one assistant always seemed to be enough in the past, I think Locke himself was the first to be part of a managerial team of three when he joined JJ and BB. In fact, things seem to have been better when we only had two - TB & Billy Stark, Bobby & Gerry McCabe, JJ & BB, Mixu & Kenny.
skygod
Wiliamson and McCabe were a trio with Jim Clark. Fleeting, McSherry and Frank Coulson.
piffer
Durrant was on JJs staff before he left for Rangers. Locke replaced him. As said above Williamson had Gerry McCabe and Jim Clark.
historyman
I stand corrected but I still find it hard to see how two guys can't organise and manage a team. It's not as if our squad is going to be huge, in fact at the moment we might need McCulloch and Leven to be on the bench!

Bullitt
Clint Hill would have been a decent signing for a season... however until he's spotted in Tesco it's not worth discussing.

killieblues
I used to see Naisy in Kilmarnock Asda. Therefore, I think being spotted in Kilmarnock Asda should be a prerequisite for any good signing. From the above, it appears that Tesco should be a warning...Supermarket Player Sweep rules! Good point. I once saw Leon Panikvar in Tesco so your theory holds up well.
