You have a youth team with over 80 players, how about giving us three on loan for six months and some first team football? Can’t see many managers saying no to that to be honest. Especially if the person who was asking was on your coaching staff or was in your team when you first won the champions league? That might help. Regarding all the talk about Steve Clarke - is there any evidence that he has even applied? A previous post named who had been interviewed and he wasn't on the list. Is it all just wishful thinking? azert
Why would they not use the board room for the interviews? Sounds like s**te saying they are being interviewed in a pokey office above the gym! Edited October 7, 2017 by azertyuiop
skygod
Very surprising that they are not interviewing somewhere remote, away from prying eyes.

Yes, Kilmarnock and surrounding area is the only place in Scotland to suffer from unemployment. -
BigD'sGingerLorry
Heard from a guy who works in Mauchline club that they are using the upstairs function room for the interviews, Tucker Sloan, Henry Templeton, Rashid Sarwar, Jimmy Simpson and Crawford Baptie have all been interviewed so far and from the sounds of it, Templeton is very much in the running for the job. Gaz of the 20/20
During Mixus disastrous spell with Dundee Utd he still had a better win record than our last three managers. It wasn't good in anyone's eyes but that's the low point of his managerial career and still better than what we've been used to.

Perhaps my concern is on the face of it they had more cash to throw at problems than we do at the moment. bwa86
Would rather have someone in till the end of the season who knows Scottish football and the teams and how to grind out results. Give him till the end of the season and if we stay up offer him a decent contract. No doubting Clarke, costa etc big names but do they know the league well enough? Scottish football is an entity of its own. This is no time for taking chances
Wee_Eck1979
That's why we keep ending up in this mess. We need to start looking at the bigger picture and think longer term. Every new manager has different opinion on players and we have a new bunch of players every year, this isn't how to build a successful team.
