I like a good old Scotch Pie. You can keep your fancy steak efforts.

I must admit. I do like the scotch ones at RP. I did venture into having a steak one, last time out. And, it was quite no bad. Quite no bad at all.

Stay well clear of the hot dogs though. Bowfing.

Having watched a you tube vid on how hot dogs are made, I will never ever eat one again.

Some punters want to give the club money for food and drink but aren't able to because the club is disorganised.

And other folk are blaming those punters, actively discouraging them giving money to the club by telling them to eat elsewhere, because they themselves can't handle any criticism of the club?

Imagine if the revenue from the stands happened to fall under Steve Clark's remit. Do you think he'd allow any incompetence to go unchallenged just to avoid hearing criticism?

Finally managed to get a pie today after several failures at first team games. £4.20 for a steak pie and a Bovril. No complaints about the Bovril, but after two or three bites of the pie the crust started to disintegate and the contents, little solid meat just mush, slid into the tray.  Considering what we used to get from Brownings that offering was a disgrace.

You were lucky! Only soup and hot drinks left at half time today.

The service will get better now the messiah s wife is in charge of operations. As for the pies they are supposed to break up in your hand well the steak pie ones do. Mince pies don’t and they are not wales pies the steak ones are. Go down to the willie wales shop in glencairn industrial estate for the real killie pies.

Steve Clarke's wife ?

Bizarrely I thought a steak pie would actually contain visible signs of meat not a gooey mess.

Here a wee pie eating tip I have deployed this season.

For Steak yins:

Buy pie.

Pick up spoon.

Sauce pie lid.

Remove pie lid.

Turn lid upside down place inverted lid on pie, and use spoon to apply pressure so sauce on lid mixes with meat.

Eat lid.

Mix sauce with meat and eat with spoon.

Once enough meat consumed, eat base.

All done and no mess what’s so ever as all done from within the foil holder.

Do let me know how you get on.

Why not:

Buy pie.

Remove pie lid.

Apply sauce.

Replace pie lid.

Here's an easier solution, get Brownings back asap.

Apply sauce (no for me)

Take pie out of container.

Shovel as much into your mouth as possible.

Realise its f**kin roasting and try n catch it in the container.

Watch as steak n gravy burst down the front a yer chest.

Pick up spillage with other hand, shovel in mouth.

Eat pie.

Lick fingers.

Squash up foil container and dump under the seat.

Eating a pie with a spoon is for girls.
