Trumpetree
WTF is wrong with some people? Falkirk could face an SFA rap after sections of their support threw fake eyeballs onto the pitch in a sickening taunt to Dunfermline's Dean Shiels. The Pars ran out 2-0 derby winners over their rivals at East End Park on Tuesday afternoon with goals from Nicky Clark and Declan McManus. But the Championship clash was marred by away fans singling out the former Rangers star over his missing eye, launching the rubber balls from the stands. It's the second time controversy has emerged from the fixture this season after Bairns star Kevin O'Hara was hit with an eight-match ban in November for abusing Shiels over his missing eye. O'Hara's teammate Joe McKee received a four-match rap for the same charge of excessive misconduct. The pair had been accused of making comments towards the Dunfermline man, who had his eye removed in 2006 after being involved in an accident as a child. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sick-falkirk-fans-taunt-dean-11786559
DuncanEwart
Dunfermline v Falkirk appears to be a pretty bitter rivalry this season. I remember Luis Figo getting a pig's head thrown at him during El Classico after leaving Barcelona for Real Madrid but fake eyeballs- that's a new low.
Zorro
Dunfermline v Falkirk has been a bitter rivalry for as long as I can remember. I thought Falkirk fans had scraped the bottom of the barrel with their songs about Norrie McCathie. Obviously not.

It’s always been a bitter rivalry, my mates dad and wee brother are cairns fans. His wife is a pars fan and they won’t even speak to her most times she was in the house!

A lot of "Falkirk" fans have a long standing preference for a team that plays in similar colours - the blue is a bit lighter. Even though Shiels played for DeadCo it will not stop these head bangers from doing this kind of thing when their big team isn't playing. Absolute nonsense, just like the notion that Killie fans have a soft spot for Rangers. If someone had posted that we were 'mini-h*ns' then you'd be outraged. Most importantly though, the aforementioned behaviour from their fans is disgusting and should be treated as such by the club and authorities. May not be mini huns but one of their ex chairman was a prominent Orange Lodge member. Local labour council also donated cash to the Grand Order to fund Orange marches so as they say no smoke without fire. -

Not sure what that's got to do with their fans being Rangers fans or, more importantly, this situation. I'm sure you're not best pleased when fans say we're 'mini h*ns' because of the actions of MJ during the Sevco vote. Would you say 'no smoke without fire' in that instance too?

Different thing MJ abstaining during the Sevco debate. We all protested against MJ when he did that. As far as I know MJ wasn't photographed walking through the streets of Killie with a sash on. An ex Falkirk chairman was and there wasn't a fans protest against him as far as I know. Have a google at Falkirk council & the Orange Order. I was surprised at how many Orange sympathisers were Labour councillors in Falkirk. As for us being called mini huns that is annoying but IMO comes not so much from Killie itself but more from the Huns in the surrounding Ayrshire area. I would also hope we wouldn't stoop as low as chanting about an opposition football players disability.

In the interests of fairness, I remember us chanting about Alan Stubbs having one ball at Parkhead. Also songs mocking Andy Goram's mental state, David Murray doing Wheelies amongst others!

The other 2 songs I don't remember, poor show if our fans did that. Still not quite the same as throwing imitation eye balls on to the park. I also know we had an ex Rangers director on our board but I'm sure he wasn't a member of the Orange Order.

Prahakillie
Other contenders for worst fans: Jake Livermore says remark about son who died led to West Ham fan altercation Jake Livermore has told West Bromwich Albion officials that a remark directed towards him in relation to his baby son who died in 2014 prompted him to wade into the crowd at the London Stadium and become involved in an altercation with a West Ham fan. The supporter involved in the altercation has been identified by West Ham after the club examined CCTV footage and the fan faces a ban if found to have made the alleged comments. The incident happened just after the West Brom midfielder was substituted during their 2-1 defeat at the London Stadium and it is understood that the Midlands club say they have witnesses to corroborate Livermore’s account.
killieblues
Absolutely disgusting. As was the Killie fan that taunted Tommy Coyne about his wife killing herself. That was a singleton, however, and was quickly shutdown by those of us around him, and then swiftly escorted away by the stewards. His excuse? Tommy trained with us and then signed for Motherwell. Pathetic! Edited January 3, 2018 by killieblues
