Squirrelhumper
I really hope Killie don't underestimate the home support for this one. Don't know who predicts the crowds for these things but they are usually well off. I spoke to the Alan Burrows at Motherwell after the game last month complaining about how long they took to open the top tier/other sections of seating and he said Killie had given them an estimate way below the 1250 that turned up. How anyone at Killie though we'd take way less than 1250 to FP when we've taken that to Hearts, Hibs, Ibrox, Thistle etc in recent months plus 700/800 to Dundee/Perth etc is beyond me!

Hawkeye the Gnu
Just been to the shop and can already see problems ahead. I asked for and was given a ticket for my seat and the one next to it but was advised that they are also selling tickets with no specific seats allocated. When I pointed out that this, along with fans paying at the gate.was a recipe for trouble they got very defensive saying, 'Just ask anyone sitting in your seat to move, what do you expect me to do about it'. They were already getting grief from others in front of me for the same reasons and were clearly under a bit of pressure, so I didn't want to add to that. This mess is not the shop staff's fault but someone, somewhere has clearly not thought this through and made a total arse of it. If the club are selling tickets couldn't they either all be for specific seats or instead specify the ticket holder can sit ANYWHERE. I'm not one of the ones who are overly possessive about MY.seat but having asked for and been given a ticket for it I expect to be sitting in it next Tuesday, so will ensure I'm there early just in case.

Fankle
All it takes is a simple message from the club to say seating is unreserved.

Sounds like it...... seriously though, it should be unallocated seating for the cup games as season tickets are not valid. Club should have anticipated that and printed blank tickets so no-one has a specific seat - apart from Lord Wulber of Bowie of course!
Dillinger
There's a queue of about 40 folk outside the shop waiting for tickets for the Aberdeen game... when there will be a cash gate! Demand high for this one
Coopyman
Bought 7 tickets earlier and picked the seats as would like to sit together. End of season 2016 Falkirk game was shambolic as some allocated tickets/some not and ended up sharing seats in East stand. Simple non allocation would fix when seems we will get decent crowd.
killie billies pal
I fully expect the East to be sold out by Monday, for those who expect to be able to sit in their “own seat” I would advise them being there early. The Moffat will be needed and the club should go public that it will be the only area of the ground where cash entry will be possible.
Wrangodog
Bought two tickets this afternoon, asked for our own seats but they had already been sold. Not that bothered since we didn't sit in our own seats against County, or Brora. Surely we should just sit in the seats we have been allocated.

I've just bought 4 tickets for the seats we usually sit in. I'm pleased they now let you pick seats when you buy. I really don't see your problem. Is it any different from normal matches where season ticket holders have a reserved seat and pay at the gate customers don't? If someone sits in our seats we politely ask them to move - never a problem. Same scenario will apply come Tuesday.
Mojike and Bod
Cannot wait for this after watching us on ALBA last night and getting snowed in last week and missing the trip to Aberdeen. Decided I cannot miss this game! Train booked from Yorkshire on the Tuesday and flight booked to Bristol on the Wednesday morning for 2 days at the Gee Gees along with some other well known zoomers from on here. Hopefully the Wednesday morning flight will be bouncing!
baz
Is there any reason why they just don't sell the season ticket holder's seats last? With nearly 18k seats in the stadium and non-season ticket holders attending likely not even to be half of that...can they not sell all the empty seats first? That way ST holders can get their own seat whether they buy a ticket up front or pay in at the gate...and no harm done to anyone. Unless I'm missing something, it's not really a major operation surely? If they sell out the empty seats, start selling the ST holder's seats...a problem I'm sure we'd love to have.

We took our seats in the East Stand for last nights game and were twice asked to move "as that is my seat". On both instances there was no please or thank you which wasn't a very nice way to be spoken to from fellow supporters. Of course I don't mind moving seat if I have accidently sat in someone's season ticket seat, but there are ways of asking. There is after all, no way of knowing what seats are reserved!

Aye but if the stand is sold out (which I think it will be) then it'll be chaos if they are telling folk to sit where they want.
