Scouser2
We stepped up a level or 2 after the half time chat from the Management duo ...and dominated possession a lot better ...our midfield which looked off the pace in first half showed thier class ..Mulumbu in second 45 was back on form and we got back to playing the quick passing and movement , Taylor and Jones partnership down the left was excellent . We could / should won more easily but great result , superb support and lot of fun chants ...

piffer
Thought we were dominant first half without doing anything and finished the half very poorly. Must half been strong words at half time as we came out with real purpose for the restart. Great to see us score from a set piece. Great delivery from Dicker. That Broadfoot goal has been due for months. Second goal was some great play. Simpson nice and composed at the line to pick out Boyd who finished as you’d expect. Their goal was a bit strange. Free kick off the post before hitting the keeper and going in. Was impressed by Fasan today. I wasn’t sure as although untested he looked shaky in his last appearance. Today he made a couple of decent saves. Claimed what he had to and distributed well. The goal seemed a bit of a fluke the way it happened. CBs were outstanding especially second half. First half Broadfoot got involved in a foot race a bit to often which left us exposed. Second half they swept up everything. Simpson grew into the game. Taylor was excellent up and down the park. Noticed he was really hitting Imrie hard every time they came together making sure he knew he was is a fight. Midfield dominant second half. First half they were getting time but mostly going side to side where second we had the drive to go forward. I thought it was a good return to the starting lineup for Kiltie. He made some very clever runs which opened space for others. Always available for the pass. The early dominance in the second half he was crucial to with some cracking touches and flicks. JJ. Where to start. Another frustrating afternoon. Yardage and free kicks as usual from him. A couple of times he went down far too easy which done him no favours. Final ball was really poor on the most part. A couple of strikes second half he’s lucky that net was there or they’d still be travelling high and wide. It was so disappointing because when he’s in full flow we all want him to match great play with a finish even just to test the keeper. Boyd I thought led the line well. Looked more dangerous individually with Brophy beside him but occupied at least two of the back three on his own most of the afternoon. Brophy looked really sharp and hungry when he came on. Unlucky not to score. Good to see Innes Cameron get a run out as well.

Following Killie had become blind loyalty at times. What a fantastic support today and a good win again. Resolute. Hopefully get yourself to Hibs to watch us leap frog them in two weeks. Killie alan
Was at the game today totally a great grinding out performance. Must have been given a rocket at halftime. The boys never gave up all credit to them. Alex Dyer what a coach Steve Clarke is lucky to have him. Came right over to the crowd at end of game.
historyman
Were the better team for about 70 minutes without creating a lot of chances and we certainly deserved to win the game. Everyone looked like they upped their level of performance a couple of gears in the second half. Thought Taylor was excellent for the whole match. Good to finally get a goal from a set piece and the second was a nice flowing move with Jones, Mulumbu, Power I think and a nice ball in from Simpson who had a much better second half. Didnt realise the free kick had hit the post before it went in off the keeper. Not as bad as I first thought.
