Is King no still in bother over his failure to buy Rankers shares at some fixed price which he is obliged to do?

I canny keep up with all the ins and outs of it.

Yes, King has failed to meet the deadline imposed by the Takeover Panel so more trouble ahead.
It seems he is actually the first person to fail to meet such a deadline so the authorities aren't even clear themselves what the next course of action is.
Nice to see a new club like Sevco breaking all sorts of records.

More disharmony within Ibrox?

RANGERS International Football Club PLC (RIFC) notify the resignation of two directors, Mr Paul Murray and Mr Barry Scott.

Paul has been a director since March 2015 and played an important role at that time in helping oust the previous Board and restore the Club to the hands of those who have its best interests at heart.

Paul has served with distinction as a director since that time and all at Rangers are very grateful for his efforts. We look forward to welcoming him again as a supporter.

Barry joined the Board more recently and his enthusiasm and drive were welcome. The Board knows it will continue to enjoy his support and appreciates the commitment he has shown to the Club.

Should've stuck to Cillit Bang adverts Barry.

It would appear a court order has been granted, just this morning infact, forcing King to offer £11M in cleared funds, to be verified by a 3rd party, for Rangers shares......

Personally, I think he might be screwed now.

As our colleague above notes, at least Barry Scott will be able to concentrate on his adverts for "Cillit BANG"

It will be interesting to see how the likes of Man City and Chelsea react when faced with claims, perhaps Crewe as well.

Most allegations so far seem to have occurred under previous ownership regimes.

Record Hotline:

There’s a conspiracy against Rangers ... they are being hounded for reasons other than football

The decision of the SFA to probe alleged breaches at Rangers during the Craig Whyte regime has split the Hotline down the middle.

Unsurprisingly, the blue half claim it’s a targeted attack while the green side claim justice is about to be served.

On the pitch, the league season may have ended but Hotline regulars are taking each other to task in a series of end-of-season debates that are likely to rage for a few weeks yet.

“Does the thought of Steven Gerard and the array of talent he’s going to attract to Ibrox strike so much fear into the SFA they have to start another witch hunt? It seems every time something positive happens at Rangers the grim reapers come calling.

“Why don’t they calculate all the extra revenue created by Gerard coming that will be paid by BT and Sky to Scottish football in his first season and work out how long it would take to generate that sort of cash without the Rangers at the top table? Maybe then someone on their panel will see sense.”

“There is a conspiracy against Rangers . They are being hounded for reasons other than football. Quite clearly they are worried about the only show in town.”

“So finally the SFA have grown a set and after reading various forums we have Rangers supporters continuing with their, ‘We are the victims’ myth of being charged for UEFA licence irregularities.

“Put it to bed for God’s sake. Rangers were the perpetrators and not the victims. Not so strangely they infer Celtic are to blame for these charges. Pathetic, really.”

“I see Rangers are going to contest the results of the investigation. They didn’t pay tax and now it’s pay back time.”

Man City and Chelsea had different owners, but they were the same club.

Sevco have a case, but only if they are accepting that they are not the same Rangers as formed in 1872.

This,  admit you are a new club, forgot the history and we can start again or cling onto the history and you then have to accept the crimes and liabilities of the club which generated that history.

Gerrard is a PR stunt to sell season tickets.

The Sevco support convince themselves it'll work because they're desperate to believe anything that's a good news story as an escapism from their new reality of being a provincial club.

When the football starts, it falls apart.

I loved the bit in the statement asking for sensitivity and not use allegations from 30 yrs ago to attack the present incarnation - I've yet to hear anyone from Sevco condemn the 'Big Jock Knew' fraternity.

Scumbags.

So true. Irony is lost on them. They have absolutely no sense of self awareness
