He really is a graceless , charmless arsehole . Heard him on the radio after the game today exulting that finishing second proved that they are the second best team in Scotland. Serial bottlers more like , who will presumably be horsed out of Europe at the first opportunity by some giants from Malta or Belarus . Plus, he was quite rude about us .

Thought he came across really badly on the BBC. Just sounded like a bitter fan rather than a manager. I’ve lost a lot of respect for some managers this season because of the way they’ve carried themselves in the media. McInnes and Rodgers being the main ones.

I was initially impressed with Rogers but realised that was mainly because things were going so well. Recently he has gone well down in my estimation.

Firstly because of his inability to do anything in Europe where the real challenge lies for him.

Secondly because of how incredibly petty he can get when things go south. Like his comments about the surface when they lost at RP and his firemen remarks.

Returning to the original topic, McInnes came over as a bitter wee ned in that interview. "Yous all doubted us, but we showed ye". Showed us what? That you are second fastest in a one horse race??? Utter classless clueless clown. Lennon ten times the manager and better entertainment value as well.

He won a game that was completely pointless for the opposition. It's kind of embarrassing to see him point the finger and tell everyone to get it up them. Celtic will hammer them again every time they meet next season

That's very true. The only time he beats them is when it means nothing to them. Hardly anything to get excited about. However, the Dons should be reasonably happy with four consecutive runners up finishes. That's not bad.

You can be happy with a fourth consecutive runners up spot but at some point you have to look to bridge the gap. Failing to compete against the OF stopped Aberdeen from mounting a serious title challenge. Six matches they rolled over those points could have made a huge impact. Theyve picked up the others results but bottled it on the biggest stage

I don't think anyone can realistically expect them to bridge the gap, with our without McInnes. Celtic's spending power means that if Aberdeen even show a glimpse of catching them, they can spend and stamp them back down.
