The last player that I can remember who moved up and played in the top division was the big centre half from Arthurlie who went to Hamilton. He gave them a few decent seasons. Big Mark McLaughlin - think he went to Clyde then followed Maitland to Hamilton. Played senior from 98 until about 2 years ago then went to Beith. He was brilliant. If we don't sign him, a rival will. Great set piece delivery also which we badly lack. Hope his Dad stays away if he comes..... Either Barton is injury prone or Sh*te. Take your pick I'll concede he has had injuries but I still think he's a good footballer. And he's a bit of a handsome fellow as well.
