Is unfortunate "Jalapeno Jones" is unavailable, cos he's not Scottish and as his name suggests, his twisted baws still a bit stingy - for reasons unkown..

SOD should have been in the last squad never mind a call up for this one as a replacement. Shows you how low he is in the pecking order & he'd be well within his rights to tell McLeish to do one as it's a farce going over there at this time of year & he clearly doesn't rate him particularly highly tho not being rated by McLeish isn't a bad thing imo!

There is no way SOD will turn down a call up.

O'Donnell should've been in it anyway actually hope he doesn't get called up so the guy can go and have a good holiday and rest

I felt the same way, tbh. I was low-key hoping none of our guys would get called up to this farce, and they would have a full summer to look after themselves. The quality is there, and (so long as we have a manager capable of looking beyond English/big city teams) the caps will come, but this trip halfway around the world is a waste of time and energy, and just a jolly for the blazers.

Kilmarnock defender Stephen O'Donnell has been called up to the Scotland squad for two summer friendlies.

The right back has received his first call up to the national side for matches against Mexico and Peru this summer.

Scotland take on Peru on May 29 before facing Mexico on June 2.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a stellar debut season with Killie with national manager Alex McLeish at Rugby Park on Sunday to watch the attacking full back in action.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Stephen on receiving international recognition and wish him well during his time with the squad.
