Anyone any ideas if they'll possibly still be trying to qualify for europe around the time the games to be played could help us ! If they get to the 3rd qualifying round, 2nd leg ties are played on the 16th August & final qualifying round, 1st leg is on the 23rd August.... I'd imagine our tie would take place on the 19th if they are still in Europe by then. Edited July 29, 2018 by C4mmy31

MarkD1989KTID
Might just depend on how Sevco start the season and if their start gives them any momentum going into this game. If they beat Aberdeen at Pittodrie next week then the media will be instantly declaring them guaranteed league champions and future treble treble and Champions league winners because Stevie G is a "winner" and the Scottish media will be saying they told you this from the start. Lose the Aberdeen game and he'll be a manager with no full time experience at this level who doesn't know the Scottish game and only a manager with expereience in the Scottish game will be able to stop another Celtic whitewash and the Scottish media will be saying they told you this from the start. Either way....I think we'll beat them.

carpetfitter
Three point scenario: 1) Shake down the.Hunnish hordes for their cash 2) Killie fans turn out in numbers 3) Beat the scum That’s the way to do it.

historyman
I'm pretty sure they will be better than last year and will certainly have more fight in them. If their new manager has any sense then he would prioritise the LC over Europe. -

Yes can't understand why anyone would be unhappy with this draw. By that weekend we'll have the momentum of being top of the league and they'll be mortified that we've knocked them out of the cup! Stevie G. will do a John Barnes in that he's an inexperienced manager joining a club in an advanced stage of paranoia and though he might be a better manager than said Barnes in the end it won't be in Scotland! Wrong club at wrong time and for what its worth same with Frank Lampard at Derby! You heard it here first!

PrestersKtid
Would’ve been nice to get a Dunfermline ayr or Livingston but we shouldn’t fear any team anymore. Capable of beating every team in the competition. Bring it on

Piersquared
Got hospitality at Forfar on the Saturday so at least I’ll see the game given it’ll likely be on the Sunday. Late enough kick off and I’ll even make the game.

Dillinger
We're the first team with a chance to inflict misery on Stevie G. Someone might beat them in a one off game in the league beforehand, but if we put them out the league cup, we'll be the first to take a proper scalp. Bring it on.
Scouser2
Good money spinning tie for the club , and the new sponsors "box" will be rammed full as to the game could been better draw but it's a good chance to impress and all the pressure will be on them
