KillkieBoab
Why don't we suggest to Cathy J. that the club use the £100k from TiK to buy Shankland? Surely he can't be worth any more if MacColl thinks JJ was over-priced at £350k. -
KillieDIV
I'd rather we spent the money on another centre mid or centre half than a forward.

piffer
Would rather we spent any money available to strengthen the areas we really need to. Edited July 30, 2018 by piffer

piffer
This is the big season for the boy and he knows it himself otherwise he wouldn’t have committed to another season at Ayr. He’s done really well since joining them but there are still questions as to why he wasn’t a success at a host of other clubs. If he does well at the start of the season I’ve no doubt teams will be fighting over him come January but at the moment he’s still a risk.
CarlB
He'd blossom and do well under Steve Clarke.
Garvis
Ayr fan at work says he’s fitter this season than he was last season? Don’t think it would be that big a risk.

I was speaking to an Ayr Board Member today and he confirmed they wouldn't stand in his way if a bigger club came in.

Gallus
Speak to him in 6 months and agree terms for the end of season, could be a decent replacement for Boydy. Ayr fan's I know are raving about him.
Fankle
I refuse to post a link to Ayr United's twitter on here, but it was some strike by him at Firhill on Saturday. -

Jamsie
TiK still haven't paid back the loan which took it to 100k, if that money goes to A*r for Shankland they never will! Thankfully there's absolutely no chance of that happening.
Bullitt
I hope he stays with Ayr and they have a beasting season and get promoted. Three or four derbies a season is what we all want... and I think they might just do it this year!

The local interest from four Ayrshire derbies a year would do Killie the world of good.

cammy_boy
If they can sort out their defence then they might push a play off spot. But it was woeful last season and they are up against better players now. Also McCall is a s**te manager and if things are against them in a game they are daffy ducked.
