He is one of the untouchables in terms of his FIFA status, he is career-minded so everything will be in their favour, and he is both incompetent and arrogant in terms of his actual "refereeing" - so the worst of all worlds basically. Sure you'll give him your usual welcome McBeth...that Dundee performance made Les Mottram look like Collina
Fankle
Fair play to him, had a decent game.

Yep, just the Rangers goal cleared by O'Donnell when clearly over the line, the following offside he got wrong with Boyd, a dive and an elbow from Morelos both going unbooked, and a penalty for Boyd that he missed. By his standards, a decent game

Bullitt
Can’t blame the referee at all today. It’s not his decision as to the ball crossing the line and he’s trusting his linesman. Cant think of anything I disagreed with throughout and he was consistent in his bookings. We lost because rangers were better than us today and had that little bit extra quality when it mattered.
red_dug
I backed 70+ booking points today based on that clown being the ref. 1 booking short of an 8/1 win.
historyman
It's the best game I've ever seen him have - and that includes our games plus some I've seen on the tv. Overall he got most of the decisions right and didn't cave in to the pressure their fans out him under.
mathematics
He certainly wasn't as bad as the Dundee game. East stand linesman had a couple of dodgy decisions.
piffer
Thought he did the right thing for the disallowed goal. If he’s not 100% he can’t give it. In real time your looking for the assistant to be in a position to make that decision. Some baffling decisions though. A couple of dives going unpunished. Booking Dicker for a pull then letting Halliday off with the exact same thing before going on to book Arfield for the same offence all in the same area stopping counters. If he felt Boyd stuck the elbow in at the end of the first half why wasn’t it a straight red? Why didn’t the boy Ejaria get booked when he had a five minute spree of destruction clattering the keeper, SOD and Burke within minutes. Agree it wasn’t as bad as previous rumours though.

Same reason he didn't book Broadfoot for taking out their keeper and centre back probably.
carpetfitter
Have to see it on the goggle box but it looked like a clear penalty to me when Boydy was barged over in the box late on. Had he given it he would have had to have sent the H*n defender off. Think Walsh bottled it.

piffer
He’d have stayed on the park if he’d made a genuine attempt for the ball?

PrestersKtid
Linesman was clueless, wasn't up with play for Boyd being straight through, wrong decision. Had his flag up for offside for Burke who never went near the ball, Brophy was on and ran in behind, gave offside. Wrong Morellos blatant handball, nothing
