RayD
They have the "Clarke effect" at the moment, and a few million to back it up, and in Scottish football that will see you win most of your games. No doubt they deserved to win, better in every department We've some work to do

Zombie mark II is coming.

ki11ie
Folk are to stubborn to admit that Rangers have massively improved, they were a much better side today, but albeit wasn’t difficult compared to recent years. We played well in spells of the game, disappointed to loose, but thought for long periods of the game we matched them, we are still without our best centre half, and we will sign another 1 possibly 2, 3 games in and folk are saying we are not the same team as last year, calm down f**k sake.
Asasaid
Hate to say it but that game showed everyone watching what we need to improve the team. Between SSC, the board and @Craigyboy (happy birthday by the way) i hope the correct players and positions have been identified and will be filled in the next 12 days. Bullitt
Boyd and Broadfoot were really poor today and Morelos hardly had to work for his goals. They are very much improved but we need everyone at it for a good result. Jones had perhaps 2 or 3 moments the entire game, but we can’t keep carrying him. He needs to get the finger out because recently his performances will deter someone from going for him not increase his value. Big keeper perhaps slow at second but did make some cracking saves. Overall can’t complain at all about the result we were second best all game.

SM21
Scott Boyd is no where near good enough to play at this level. School boy stuff from him.
killie billies pal
Fukk me some folk are hard to please, we matched a good Rangers team for long periods, we created some great chances, hitting the bar, some great saves fromFotheringham, not at all that bad considering we have weakened and they have strengthened big time. Remember, In Steve Clarke we Trust

We've played 2 of the most negative, boring teams in the league, our defence isn't terrible but we need at another CB
diamond_geezer
Pains me to say it but I think the TV companies will be happy , Rangers look as if they might push Celtic a bit harder this year . We weren’t that bad but we definitely need some fresh blood in a few positions. -

fraz65
We're only two or three players short of being capable of a top six challenge. In 25 years, we've beaten Rangers twice at Rugby Park in almost 50 attempts. One of those wins came when they played Mark Hately in central defence. Scott Boyd was poor today against a very good striker by SPL standards. He's rarely let us down in two years. It's disappointing to edit the cup at this stage but I think that there's still a good season ahead.
Bullitt
Most annoying thing is we have missed out in a home tie against Ayr...

Morph
Again I think it’s probably best no to read to much into this game. A few new faces would be good for the team but this is a much harder Rangers team to beat than the shambles we faced last year. Anyone doubting sir Steve needs their head looked at
ki11ie
Steve Clarke post match interview, he was happy with the performance and felt we ran the game start to finish (maybe abit over the top). He admitted areas to improve upon so hopefully has a couple players lined up.
red_dug
No one is doubting SSC but with the money freed up by releasing players we should be looking to bring at least one CMF in asap. Tough run of fixtures coming up and cannot give ground away like we did last season. Findly coming back will help although scott boyd is fine against 90% of the league.......we do lack pace at the back without findlay.
chubbs
Disappointing game to lose but we weren't as bad as made out. Scott Boyd had a poor game against Morelos ... Why did we not put Broadfoot back onto him? JJ was poor again.. and contributed to first and third goals with poor positioning and tackling. Brainstorm must be really embarrassed by his £3m ofo statements. This result probably come at a good time for us against a 'better' team and it shows where we need to strengthen. Onward and upward with Sir Steve !!
TTF
I'm sure by the end on the month the squad will be stronger than it is today. Rangers are going through a good spell were things go for you and you carry a wee bit of luck. Very similar to when Steve Clarke took over. We look fit and well organised just now but lacking a bit of quality that will hopefully be added this week. Lots to be positive about on and off the park

Lots to be positive about on and off the park Agree, it should be remembered we were never out of the game. Even at 3-1 we were still going forward. Rangers did deserve to win but only because they took the chances presented to them. At the end of the game we have been beaten by a deflection, a CB's error and only goal 3 is a created one where they played right through us.
