Managerial merry-go-round

Recommended Posts

Falkirk have kind of went backwards. Unlucky in the fact their best performances in recent years were met with arguably the strongest championship in history. They were expected to kick on last season with no exceptional side in there but didn’t compete at all.

Jim McIntyre for that one? Must be his turn to get back on the bike. Hartley to make a shock return to Dundee shortly

Just a wee snippet from the Sun today. Couple of interesting names. Ayr will be praying McCall isn’t interested. Nice to see Lee Clark’s name pop up. Will certainly give them exciting transfer windows

Falkirk, who axed Hartley on Monday after just three games in the Championship this season, could now turn to Ayr United boss Ian McCall.

McCall had a previous spell in charge at Falkirk but may decide to stay with the Honest Men, who he’s guided to the top of the second tier.

SunSport Online understands Jim Duffy – another former Falkirk boss – is among those keen on the job, along with former Aston Villa No2 Stuart Taylor, ex-Kilmarnock gaffer Lee Clark and ex-Celtic star Massimo Donati.

Could Neil McCann be next for the axe? Rumours doing the rounds that’s why there was so little interest in the Falkirk job. Four defeats in four in the league and by all accounts the performances have been pretty abysmal

Would be a right merry-go-round if Kenny Miller took over as  Dundee player manager!  McCann won't last long on current form, especially with Holt off to a good start.
