ITS BEING GOING ON FOR YEARS WITH OUR IMPOTENT FOOTBALL GODS ALLOWING IT TO CONTINUE WITHOUT PENALTY . I HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING KILLIE SINCE THE MID 60S HOME AND AWAY AND HAVE SEEN THIS NONSENSE FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE OLD FIRM..NOT PLEASANT AND NEVER WILL BE..OH AND HARD LUCK KILLIE..GOOD EFFORT..

The problem is it takes 1 idiot to start something or come over to the home stands and mass brawl starts.. could’ve been very bad, I’m telling you 800 fans in the back of the Chadwick next game as our “f**k you to that scummy behaviour

This! Exactly what I was waiting on happening, thankfully it didn't.

Until they start vetting their support more effectively we should restrict their allocation. And we should make that decision - and the reasons - public. As a club, the time for accepting this is surely over.

There was a lot of ‘if you are a true Killie fan you go to Old Firm games’ type chat in the last few weeks on here. And I was as disappointed as everyone else that there were only about 3500 in the home end for the cup match.

The reality though is that these games are unpleasant and when they turn nasty f**k all is done about it, either at the time or retrospectively.

Anyone notice the young kid being escorted out of the ground along the front of the Moffat by a parent. Looked like they were not enjoying their sides party antics. Hope the kid is ok.

Myself and the late Danny Coffey also attended the planning meeting for a game against Celtic that season and it was the same sort of stuff.

When we brought up the May 2003 debacle they all found something interesting to look at on the wall and basically denied knowledge of anything that had gone on.

The Celtic guys were only interested in two things:

1. Getting the TVs at the Tbars switched off so that no 'contentious decisions' were replayed during the game.

2. The Celtic board getting a police escort into the ground as they were afraid of being confronted by their own fans.

They got the former but not the latter as far as I remember.

Some news sites saying Septic are sweating over a potential bill for the damage.

Why woukd it be a "potential bill"

Do they think we should just lie down and take it?

Deluded or what?

:hurrah:

There is no "potential bill" .... it was written into the league/SFA rules years ago that the away club bears the cost of repairs for any damage caused by their fans.  It came in after Celtic agreed to pay for repairs only if we didn't publicise the damage.

I love the idea that they will only grudgingly do what’s right if we agree to keep it quiet.

The club should be making a huge racket about this first thing tomorrow.

We do not need the two Glasgow clubs; they are a stain. And the best way of getting rid of a stain, as we all know, is smearing s**t all over it and chucking the item in the bin.

The Police are not allowed to go on the pitch as it is a stewarding issue as it is no longer deemed a criminal offence to run on the pitch. Stewards also are the only ones who can eject people from the stadium as its not a policing matter unless a criminal act has taken place. Blame the people who decriminalise offences and change legislation not the cops on the ground who are following orders.

Take it from your name you are a polis don't talk s**te Celtic support was out of control inside and outside the stadium and openly drinking carry outs in the environs of the stadium while breaching the peace with shouts and songs about terrorist organisations. All swept under the carpet by the media again. When we won with a last minute goal against them last time at RP yes we celebrated wildly but I didn't see anyone on the pitch wrestling with stewards or assaulting Celtic fans on the way home.

Think you will find 99% of the time cops don't get paid for working football and have their days off cancelled to work at it and just get their day off back. So as I said you make judgements in things yoi dont fully understand or probably want to understand.

That's very charitable of them working for nothing then!!

Utter pish, you are paid for watching a game of football, as you do no policing activities most of the time. You simply have your days-off changed.

I'm fed up watching you guys getting paid a fortune and doing the square root of SFA for your over inflated wages.   You always for the easy targets and turn a blind eye to the disgraceful behaviour of Rangers and Celtic fans every time either of these neanderthals play.

This is why Strathclydes finest couldn’t do anything. To tired from yesterday big raid against those big bad Ayr fans a lot of report writing in that lot.

If they did the same today outside Kilmarnock there would have been traffic chaos.

Thank God for these 'operations'

I'm sure we all felt safer in the knowledge that although Celtic fans were invading the pitch, smashing up seats, singing IRA songs....that they at least didnt have a drink on the bus

It looked like one half of the flood lights were still on at 6.30 this morning. I wonder if they are still checking the damage. Also any truth in the rumours the toilets were trashed too?

There was a rumour toilets were trashed by The Rangers fans but it wasn't confirmed.

They scummy bstards yesterday did set off smoke bombs in the bogs though.

Only one solution for it in my eyes, give them one stand, the financial benefits mean nothing when their support can’t behave and feel like they can get away with anything, also, Police Scotland should be as ashamed as Celtic, not one of them willing to go into the pitch to pull the idiots off, well done to all Killie fans on keeping reasonably calm and showing Celtic how to behave like human beings rather than complete scum.

It's not acceptable for the fans to come on the pitch, you could possibly understand one or two when the thug ran to the fans after scoring but you can't justify the scum running the full length of the pitch and having time too take selfies. The time they were on the pitch even the big match commander could have waddled on and lifted one of them as for the rest of the police hiding in the corner, disgrace. The club should get a refund if they had to pay for the policing yesterday.

That's a complete and utter cop out by the police.

They are the police for f**k sake.

Running on the park is a criminal offence, people have been jailed for it in the past.
