A string of horrible decisions, an unerring ability to continually drive a wedge between club and supporters, and quite possibly the single most petty, petulant managerial sacking I’ve ever seen. It’s taken a long time and a lot of effort to start to erase his ‘legacy’ and rebuild the community spirit at the heart of the club. However, there has to be worries about whether this will infect investment in the club in the near future. No mention but it is likely that Bowie and MJ reached a private agreement for Bowie to buy MJ out of club and hotel. Since MJ got his stake for £1 he will have made a tidy profit. It was a hard time with MJ in charge but in comparison with some other clubs we got off lightly. It’s time to look forward.
