theboyjohnston
Placed a multi bet with Paddy Power for the Shellsuit v Sevco game last month Celtic win - tick Goal scored each half - tick Morelos Booked - tick Lustig booked - ????? 3 out the 4 happened and then Lustig got involved with Halliday and Fotheringham after the final whistle - I'm thinking surely Lustig will get booked. The ref carded Halliday on the pitch and seems he cautioned Lustig & Fotheringham in the dressing room. Paddy Power not paying out because it has occurred after the 90 minutes. I can understand the 90 minute rule for cup games but it's a bit s**t to apply it to a run of the mill league game
chubbs
He was booked after the game finished ... why would you think it counted?
Gaz of the 20/20
Bets are within 90 mins? You cant cling on to your coupon till half 5 hoping someone gets booked in the changing rooms.

Although it would count if he'd been booked in the dressing room at halftime.

theboyjohnston
Look I'm having a moan and not surprised at the responses but, the bookings occurred within the context of this match and in relation to an incident on the pitch. Not unreasonable to think that the Laws of Football would have some bearing on the principles of the betting world. Lustig, Halliday and Fotheringham never had the bookings rescinded because in Paddy Power world they don't count after the 90. IMO the 90mins is, or should be, a tool to differentiate cup games or the like that go into extra time and penalties. Anyway their Ts&Cs will undoubtedly express their viewpoint and I should know that I don't have a leg to stand on - would have been nice to have had the 100 notes tho as it would would have tipped my winnings for the season in to paying my Season Ticket for next year
Scooter
Bookies will go by their T's & C's, not by the laws of any game or what you might "think"... and you'll never beat them!

Had a fiver on Liverpool at 28s last night to win 3-0. Cashed out 2 mins before the 4th for £70. Sometimes you beat them, just bet in moderation and bet what you can afford to lose. -
Lroy
Despite their adverts and social media; bookies aren't out there to be your mate, have a bit of banter and help you out with tips. They exist to rip every penny they can from you through manipulation and trickery. They target society's most vulnerable, but as long as they whisper "gamble responsibly" after every advert it's somehow acceptable.

skygod
The Ladbrokes ad with Kris Akabussi has to be the most crass, ill-conceived and annoying thing on TV.
