kilm53
His loss... AA will get a better and younger box to box midfielder from Italy..
KillieBus
I'm not bothered by this, if he doesn't want to come, he's not going to be missed by me. He would be third choice behind Dicker and Power in the team and if he had been here last year, he would have been on the bench. Gives the new manager a chance to bring in his own choice. Hopefully someone younger and if Wilson is up to it (and up for it) then he can have first go at it.
mitch14
Thinking on this, I wonder if this is part of getting a foreign manager. Absolutely no reason for Alessio to prioritise a thirty two year old midfielder. May well have other options lined up. Those could be amazing or we could have missed out. All part of the fun this season.
Blackislekillie
If Aberdeen's marquee signing this summer is a 33 year old looking for a last payday then their ambition is questionable to say the least, however good a player he may be. We should be looking to the future in terms of our signings, not the past.
Craigieboy
Killie fan want kilmarnock sign experience and quality midfielder player like Dicker and Power
Harrogate Peter
When we had that spell of playing brilliant football under Mixu he was hardworking but workaday. By no means the starman in my view. Maybe it was only because we went to pot and he left at right time that we rate him so highly? Not knocking him but he's 33 and if he doesn't want to come here fine we'll go for younger legs!

The reason he's rated so highly is that he has had a great career at Derby. Maybe not so much in recent seasons, but even last year he did well at Cardiff City. He became a much better player in England. He rarely scored for Killie - 13 in 129 - then started scoring for fun, 16 in 2013/14 alone. His stamina and energy won't be what they were but his experience will be very useful to Aberdeen, especially if they bring in a lot of youngsters.
Harrogate Peter
Yes he was good in early seasons for Derby and scored a lot of goals against Blackpool which always goes down well with me as I was dragged up in Preston. That isn't the Craig Bryson we're talking about now. It's up to him but his strengths won't fit with Aberdeen any more than Stewart's did.
Thebigguy68
Come on folks... If we had signed Craig Bryson we would have been drooling. We may end up with better but most killie fans would have liked to see him back ( the poll on mulumbu versus Bryson was close call). Let’s be honest when one of our rivals makes a good signing. We’re better than old firm fans that hit the denial button when a target signs for a rival.
Craigieboy
DEREK McINNES thought Aberdeen had no chance of signing Craig Bryson when he first targeted him. But his persistence paid off this week when he snapped up the midfielder from Derby County.

But nowt wrong with a bit of post hoc rationalisation.

Everyone wants to be Killie. Next they'll be getting rid of those dangerous grass surfaces, that injured so many of their players in recent seasons, and replacing them with a lovely, safe, synthetic one
