Popular Post KillieFC
Just to confirm what others are saying...it turns out the 'delays' at the away end turnstiles were caused by Gers fans with fake tickets/QR codes trying to blag their way in...nothing to do with our ticketing system! They initiated the problem, they exacerbate the problem...they are the problem!

Hopefully this info is sent onto police/sfa etc. Media will make it out to be our fault somehow.
Steppskillie
Absolute disgrace SFA and SPFL must now take action. They have no choice. Posted eleswhere might be interesting to see if Scottish Government now intervene. Football authorities have been warned before for lack of action.

I hope the club does more than just send on info to two organisations who don’t give a s**t. I hope they are going to start taking proper legal advice. Or, as above, the Scottish Government needs to get involved. Edited August 5, 2019 by NorfolkG

And any indication of how many were in circulation? Was it the case the fake tickets actually worked leading to those with genuine tickets not being allowed access to the stadium?
MorkenTheMonk
QR Codes are very easy to copy... just screenshot and text your mates. However, the ticketing system works perfectly - it detects that a QR code has already been used to admit entry, and denies any attempt to reuse it. The Rangers fan who originally copied his QR code for reuse by others is hopefully identifiable by the ticketing system! Rangers Football Club should be made liable for any extra Policing, Stewarding, and Damages incurred in making Rugby Park safe and secure when their Scum fans come calling.

Graeme S
So it probably wasn't fake tickets. It was them simply sharing the codes with friends thinking they had beaten the system.idiots

KillieDIV
Do we as a club have proof of this? If so then we should 100% be going to the spfl with that and the video of the huns forcing the gate open and requesting they do something about it.

Bonbon19
In the light of what’s happened KFC should issue appropriate paper tickets for all OF games at RP and attempt to make them pay for the extra costs . It seems the current one can be easily forged . Edited August 5, 2019 by Bonbon19

Problem isn't with QR codes, they are used worldwide for ticket purposes. The problem lies with the police not dealing with folk who try to gain entry when the code has already been used. To let them overpower an exit is shambolic, shameful and dangerous. Match commander accountable here.

In fact id go as far as to say you are as thick as them if you really believe what you are saying. You can see exactly what happened in that video.
