C4mmy31
KILMARNOCK could make a swoop for ex-Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty. Free agent Lafferty is looking for a new club after being axed by Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard. The Northern Ireland international issued a come-and-get-me plea to former club Hearts, although Craig Levein has distanced himself from a move. But the 31-year-old could be offered a chance to stay in Scotland by Angelo Alessio - if the money is right. The Kille boss said: “The club is working every day to get new players in. “But we have got to be realistic. Lafferty and some players earn a lot of money.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4609223/kyle-lafferty-rangers-kilmarnock-transfer-news/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1565904699

Popular Post fraz65
I can't believe anyone wouldn't want this to happen. Probably the same people who didn't want Kirk Broadfoot. Edited August 15, 2019 by fraz65
Cass316
31 year old proven goalscorer. Aye, he'll no dae!!!
Richaway
Great player with fantastic movement off the ball. bit of nut job but he’d be our nut job. As long as he keeps the other s**te to himself he’d be a great signing.
bute-killiefan
Would absolutely take Lafferty. Don't see a deal happening though.
Cass316
Think his wage demands might be a stumbling block but if we are able to get a deal done then I'd welcome him with open arms. Great big striker.
Killie65
I cant believe I'm about to say this but I would take him. He has a good scoring record plus he would be great at winding the opposition up. Hope this deal goes through.
Scouser2
Do wonder if there has been any genuine interest or if the name was put forward by a journalist and Manager just responded in general terms about possible too high wage demands of certain players........ Lafferty has been available for some time for any club ....though he had made it known of wanting to go back to hearts, who could probably meet his wage demands .....
Mojike and Bod
Seems strange folk turning their noses up at Lafferty, a proven goalscorer at our level, whilst people were falling over themselves to sign Vanzo. A player nobody had seen play, who has hardly scored a goal in his career and has just signed for the worst side in Belgium...,
NorfolkG
I’d be very happy to get a player like him in. But the ‘story’ seems to be based on a journalist saying Lafferty’s name and AA acknowledging his existence.
Dillinger
I've said before, I hate Rangers as much as anyone, but some on here are obsessed. We cannot afford to turn down someone with Lafferty's proven track record just because of his history with them. I wouldnt let the fact he seems like a walloper put me off either. Lots of footballers are
funky monkey
As a football player he fits the bill, as a person he doesn't. Not worth breaking the bank for. Will he fit in with the existing group? -

Bullitt
Would absolutely sign him. He was on £3k a week at Hearts although he did say he took a pay cut to sign for Rangers. Either way he would probably be our top paid player... but he’s worth it!
