Bob Agg
£3.20 a pint, why not just make it £3 on match days to save time and get more folk served? -

Contactless card payment is even quicker, no? Saves them carrying change for hunners of 20s

Because you can't change the price according to the day of the week. Any promotion has to run for 72 consecutive hours. In an industry where margins are fine, the 20p likely makes a difference. The time saved is even more marginal.

Was just reading that. What an odd situation. Cashlessness available everywhere (including the gates) except for the Killie Club. 'Pint of heavy, please.' 'That's £3.20.' *Pulls out card* ''Sorry, sir. Cash only' 'But, I never brung any, I got my ticket on my phone, I use the card at the kiosks' Perhaps they were hoping we'd be drawn away in the cup, and the'd have had a fortnight to get everything in after the 'soft launch' against the huns.
