They would offer us a nice wee spell in the Championship. Whatever anyone thinks of SOD’s recent attitude and performances, that is just sheer nonsense.

We are heading to the championship currently as it is. Cash in 200k for sod as he’ll be off in the summer anyway and has completely chucked it.

“It’s key to recruit players at the right age and stage of their careers.

“If we can get a process in place then hopefully it can make that side of the game easier and mean that we aren’t leaving things to the last minute in the transfer windows.”

How's it going so far, James?

What the hell is going on. I’d love to see the plans for this window written down as you can’t follow it.

Why bring Broadfoot back if we’ve got four CBs on the books and two others who can cover there

Why let Wilson go when we only have three other CMs to play there and they’re not hitting the heights they have previously.

We still don’t have creativity. We still don’t have a goal scorer. We still have a severe lack of pace in the squad. We still have two suspect keepers.

When I read that article before I didn’t assume that he meant it literally when he talked about not leaving things to the last minute.

If we bring in another centre-half (Broadfoot or ano) while letting Wilson go out on loan then they really must be throwing darts at names on the boardroom wall.

We might go down with O’Donnell at rb but we’d definitely go down with Rory playing there, he’s never a right back in a million years.

Why is everyone so ready to believe a story in the Daily Record? It was probably invented by a tabloid hack.

The transfer story to truth ratio in the Scottish gutter press is abysmal.

Why is it nonsense because you said so. We have more than half a team out of contract and not trying a f**k. Sod is the biggest underperformed or have you got blinkers on

I agree he’s underperforming, but it is nonsense to suggest Rory McKenzie at right back is a better option than O’Donnell, even on a bad day. I know Wilson has played there, but again I still think SOD offers more even at his worst.

At our level the difference is commitment.  We have not had that from Sod since his Scotland call up. Now he is dictating that we will not receive a fee . He will go on his terms at the end of the season. If we are going to struggle  at least play players that want to play.

The guy Scott Burns has had a not bad record with regards to Killie stories in the past.

Aye, where has this been documented?

One of the paper columns either on Broadfoot or SOD has a note at the bottom saying Dyer was looking for two more and would let Wilson go on loan. Think it was Queen of the South

Oxford United have tabled a £200,000 offer for Scotland star Stephen O’Donnell.

The English League One side are trying to do a deal with Kilmarnock before the transfer window closes.

The Us have also opened pre-contract talks with the 27-year-old.

United boss Karl Robinson wants O’Donnell to replace Chris Cadden who has returned to Columbus Crew after his successful loan.

Kilmarnock are considering the offer although Oxford have still to strike an agreement with the player.

Killie have already offered O’Donnell a new deal but he has yet to commit and they may need to sell if the player agrees a pre-contract.

O'Donnell previously had a spell in England with Luton Town.

Killie boss Alex Dyer is also looking to add to his squad with a striker his top priority.

Dyer has already added Harry Bunn and Nicke Kabamba to his ranks so far this month and he may not be done yet.

Take it. Let's face it. SOD had one good season and got picked by his ex boss for Scotland. Shows how pish our national team is, not how good he is. Problem is he's now delusional about his worth.  He's been rubbish all season. Let him go.

Stephen O’Donnell has rejected the chance to leave Kilmarnock for Oxford United.

SunSport can reveal Killie accepted a six-figure bid from the English League One club for the Scotland right-back.

Oxford boss Karl Robinson wanted O’Donnell as a replacement for former Motherwell star Chris Cadden.

But O’Donnell turned down the move for personal reasons and will now see out the season at Rugby Park.

His contract expires in the summer and he could yet pen a pre-contract agreement with another club after the transfer window closes.

O’Donnell’s decision is a boost for new Killie boss Alex Dyer after a horror run of seven straight league losses.

Dyer hopes to add two new faces before the deadline but will allow Iain Wilson to head back to Queen of the South on loan.

Bugger.
