skygod
The only John Gilmour I can remember is long deceased. Jim Gilmour, scorer of the momentous late free-kick at Firhill, is the only other Gilmour I can remember in the first team.

carpetfitter
John Gilmour of early 70s fame died young. Scored a great goal against CSKA Sofia as I recall. Jimmy Gilmour - related to Jimmy Johnstone and similarly diminutive of stature - scored that goal at Firhill. Can’t recall a Jim Gilmour. The goal by John Gilmour was our 4th against JSK Slavia Sofia,CSKA are a different club and were run at that time by the Gulgarian version of the East German Stasi.
