fraz65
In no particular order: 1. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds: Ghosteen 2. Angel Olsen: All Mirrors 3. Foals: Everything Not Saved Parts 1 and 2 4. Fontaines DC: Dogerel 5. Sampa the Great: The Return I haven't heard Beck, Grimes or FKA Twigs yet. Others I still need to listen to are Floating Points, Loyle Carner, the two Big Thief albums and Gang Starr. My finger is way off the pulse so there are probably loads that I've missed out on. Looking forward to other's highlights.
fraz65
The problem with making a list like this is recency bias. I hadn't realised that the Twilight Sad album was released in 2019. I also ignored Dave, Sharon Van Etten and Little Simz. KillieFanInToon
I was disappointed by Ghosteen. I've only given it a couple of listens though, and because it's Nick Cave I'm prepared to give it several more. Also in no order: Sunn O))) - Life Metal Rammstein - Untitled Skillet - Victorious KMFDM - Paradise Cypress Hill - Elephants on Acid (might have been 2018)

Some spine chilling moments on it though.

It's been a while since the Bad Seeds were let loose on an album. The live version of Jubilee Street from Copenhagen is outstanding though. https://youtu.be/kf_zVzvYWuw
