Wrangodog
Our old pal Steven is the referee on Wednesday night. Wasn't too bad (for him) against Livingston and the home team haven't lost in Premiership games he has refereed this season. So should we be worried ?
KennyH80
No. This is such a poor St Johnstone side it shouldn't matter who's taking control. Expecting another performance like the Hearts game and a comfortable 3 points.

He sent 3 of our players yet he could not send off that sheep keeper for taking out the st mirren striker hopeless ref
killie billies pal
I think we should be worried, this referee has the ability to turn any game on its head by making unbelievable decisions

It certainly won't be easy even with that numpty in charge.

"Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off."
virtuocity
So did he try to get the ball? (Thanks for that SG)
casual observer
No - he did manage to foul Obika with both a hand and foot in the same challenge but McLean seemed that a genuine attempt to play a ball that had already been knocked past him.

Mojike and Bod
Can take nothing for granted in this league. Play as we can we should win but with this clown as the ref anything could happen which could influence the game either way. A terrible god awful referee.

mitch14
What makes Madden think that pulling faces at the East Stand is appropriate or helps to reduce the tension? Utterly bizarre. Dreadful from him again giving free kicks for everything. He missed three Brophy dives and gave them a free kick on the occasion he didn't...

The guy genuinely looks like he is there purely for the wind up. Any 50/50 challenge went against us, Millar clattered no freekick then Dicker fouls and gets a booking. New Professional refs are needed for the top flight but the SFA will never do it. Relegate the mcleans, Maddens and beatons to the lower leagues.
DuncD
Scotland need full time refs. Simple as that.
