killieeurostar
Killie top of the league before going to Celtic Park, could we do a Leicester City and win it, all over the national press . Will we ever see this again in our lifetime?? l

pmonty3
Was quite a feeling going up there in December top of the league. Bubble got burst pretty quickly but no question we had them rattled, for a wee while at least. I'll never shake off the feeling that if Stewart hadn't left us we'd have challenged a bit longer. January/February turned into a slog although we recovered brilliantly by the end.
KillieBus
Making my way to their ground and the build up to the game make it as a top highlight of the Steve Clare era for me. So despite the result, good memories for me and it was clear speaking to some Celtic fans I know, around that time, they were looking at us in a new light.

DAVE_T
only 8 points ( I think) behind last yea and personally I think if we get a good striker in the transfer window we could actually achieve the same as I feel that's the only thing missing

We’d definitely have had more points imo. To take the double whammy of losing him and have him go to Aberdeen and still finish 3rd was as you say: recovered brilliantly.
NorfolkG
Great times. The football in the December games was Mixu-esque.

Jedi2
Incredible that it was a year ago, was absolutely gutted to go there and lose 5-1 while being top of the League, though we did recover really well in December after that and were still in there after that magnificent night beating Sevco in January. Think the game that really burst it all though was losing to Hearts at home. Agree about Stewart..had he stayed think the challenge could have gone on for longer. Will we ever see it again?....Possibly, although we aren't far off last seasons points now at the same stage, but the ugly sisters have won almost every game this season, which is a major difference from last year. When they are as consistent as they have been it is next to impossible for any other side to stay up there with them.
