I’ve seen a few people say that apparently there was a bit of an argument between Bruce and AA and Dyer basically took the side of Bruce and said enough was enough.

f**k knows if that’s even remotely close to being true tho.

Why even say it then?

Ultimately there's nothing making the club look more amateur than propagating speculation that makes us look amateurish.

Something major has happened to make his position untenable. Things obviously not working behind the scenes. On results alone we are doing fine overall.

This. Although the last 3 results and performances have been poor, looking at the overall record...have only lost 1 League game at home, and that to a 92 minute goal, unbeaten in 4 games against Hearts and Hibs, finally didn't lose to Aberdeen at home, put together an impressive clean sheet record until recently, and obviously sitting 5th with a DOF recently appointed and a transfer window coming up. As said before after CQ, to be sitting 5th at around the half way stage seemed unlikely, (and still in with a chance of pushing higher up).

On the surface, its not a record or position for a manager to be under particular pressure. So, it suggests there has been a fall out whether over appointments AA wanted to make, players unhappiness/a combination.

A bit more clarity certainly needed...even if AA was lining up a job elsewhere, which could also come into the mix, or he himself wasn't happy with some aspect of the club, and it has spilled over.

Boyd clearly backing the players, which is no surprise. Don't know if its 'disrespecting' the club to want to bring your own style though. Also saying that last season was built on a solid defence which it was, but yet this season we had a better run of clean sheets.

Keith Jackson ‘exclusive’ citing sources inside dressing room. Ffs.

Angelo Alessio was driven out of Kilmarnock on the back of a full-scale player revolt – after isolating himself from his own team by speaking Italian in the dressing room.

The 54-year-old was sacked on Tuesday morning after just six stormy months in the Rugby Park hotseat with Alex Dyer handed the reigns on an interim basis.

Record Sport can reveal owner Billy Bowie felt forced to pull the trigger on Antonio Conte’s former right hand man after learning of a serious breakdown in relationships between the manager and his top team stars.

And Bowie chose to step in after being told the under-fire Alessio had rendered the situation irreconcilable by holding crucial tactical discussions with assistant Massimo Donati in their native tongue in front of a bewildered squad.

A senior source at the club confirmed: “It’s fair to say there was a serious problem between the players and the manager and one which wasn’t going to be fixed.

“There was a lack of respect for him inside the dressing room but, it must not be forgotten, respect is a two way street. Let’s just say when he started speaking to his assistant manager in Italian in front of the players it went down like a lead balloon.

“There were clear problems with communication and language barriers and it meant the relationship between the manager and players became strained.

“Look, we knew from very early on that something wasn’t right because of the noises that were coming out of that dressing room. The players just simply could not take to him or his methods which was always going to be a problem.

“Ultimately it comes down to results and they have not been good enough. The fans are clearly unhappy too so Billy and the board felt it was better to act quickly before things started turning nasty.

“Over the next few days I’d imagine some of the players will want to have their say about what was really going on and maybe then everyone will have a clearer picture.”

Alessio got his Kilmarnock career off to a catastrophic start in the summer when the club was eliminated from the Europa League qualifiers by Welsh tiddlers Connah’s Quay Nomads.

Rumours of serious unrest behind the scenes quickly began to spread and Alessio’s methods were then machine gunned in public when former defensive stalwart Kirk Broadfoot quit the club and secured a free transfer to St Mirren.

And a source close to the dressing room said last night: “Everything big Kirk said about Alessio was spot on. All his training session were focussed on the shape of the team and, as a result, the players didn’t feel they were working hard enough. They didn’t feel fit enough.

“But on top of all that there was obviously a problem with the relationship between the manager and his players. He didn’t show them any kind of respect and the feeling was perfectly mutual. It was only ever going to end one way.”

Steve Clarke’s Scotland assistant Dyer has been put in caretaker charge and it’s believed the Englishman could become a leading contender for the position on a more permanent basis.

Livingston manager Gary Holt could be another possible candidate even though he was previously overlooked for the post when he applied for it in the summer of 2017.

A pile of s**te. Boyd needs a new agent asap.

Kris Boyd: legendary striker; powerful s**te-talker.

He talks about the solid base from last season. AA had about ten clean sheets this season.

Kris Boyd has spent three years building this Talk Sport-style persona but it’s not shocking, just tiresome.

Talking of people who should have been punted, Killie stuck by Boyd last season when he struggled to run the length of himself.

How do you know its s**te ?Boydie will know what's going on.

Beacause his comments make no sense - we've been more defensive, not less, under AA, and we've had a better defensive record, so what he says is demonstrably false.

The utter hypocrisy from a guy who could have played at a much higher level if he could be bothered is more than a little grating.

Think of it like this - Burke is a driven man and player who has eked out every experience his talent and effort could get him, and continues to this day.  Boyd takes the easiest possible path at every opportunity.  He did it as a player, and now he's doing it as a pundit - he has no interest in studying the game, and makes no substantial argument of any kind around comparing either training or tactics between SSC and AA, instead he's just inflammatory - you get more attention for less work - the Kris Boyd philosophy.

Unfortunately, it's a successful one.

He is still around Rugby Park and will be in contact with his ex team mates, so will know what's going on, no one gets sacked for nothing .Not nice when it happens but it didn't happen for no reason. What would the Club have to gain from getting rid if he was that good, I don't know what triggered it but have to believe there was good reason.

An Italian speaking Italian to another Italian - what a heinous crime.

Here’s hoping Keith’s source is made up, because if that’s an accurate representation it doesn’t make the players look good at all.

I know it will be hard for some people to hear and I'm sure I'll get red dots but journalists don't just literally make up quotes for their stories.

Keith Jackson may be a prick but I'm sure he has spoken to someone in the dressing room. The number of exclusives he's had with Billy Bowie (on the record) would suggest he could probably check things with him (off the record) and just put "we understand" rather than making up quotes.

Doesn't mean the player is right, or representative of the dressing room, but there's no chance they'd just make it up.

And we're comfortably 5th despite our recent run of bad results.

Not sure if you've checked the table recently, but by 5pm on Saturday we could be 6th and level on points with Ross County - and they would have a game in hand.

Not what I would call comfortable...

If what has been said about team talks in Italian and his supposably aloof attitude are true then Billy Bowie should be applauded for getting rid off. There has obviously been a breakdown between the manager and the playing staff from early days which is unrepairable .If what Boyd said is  true about trying to re sign him then his so called contacts must have been a load of $hite and going by what he did sign Boyd would have probably been a better option.Bowie must now be regretting saying we have the best manager in th SPL big time

The board need to provide some answers, but what's done is done. If the reports of a serious breakdown with players are true (and I'm not sure what else it could realistically be) then hopefully that explains recent games and we'll begin to see some improvement.

And hopefully we didn't blow the January transfer budget paying Angelo off...

The condition Boyd allowed himself to be in last season whilst he was paid a handsome wage to be a “professional” footballer was far more disrespectful than anything Alessio ever did.

Boyd was a great goal scorer in his prime but is an utter fud of a man.

Talk of AA not respecting the players? Never heard so much pish in all my life. Talking about a coach who’s worked alongside the worlds best footballers.

What happens to the next guy if he doesn’t respect the players or doesn’t train how they’d like him to? Shambles.

No player is bigger than our club.
