NorfolkG
Same as I thought in the summer: John Hughes or Gary Holt. -
Scouser2
Will be curious about the background of AA's sacking and how long the Board (BB) --been thinking about things ---has it been discussed for a while and if so if they have had time to assess the next appointment -- or has it been a quick decision Do hope we do not revert back to the old "journeyman" type of Manager and look to appoint someone with both current ideas and contacts but also suitable to type of player we have in squad

Gary Locke followed by John Hughes!
BigYin
Think this might be the time we try and make a move for Gary Holt. He’s done a really steady job with Livi and I doubt if the club will try and be as ambitious in the appointment as they were with AA

Raith was a disaster, no doubt. But his win percentage at ICT, Livingston and Falkirk is very good. He’s a cup winner, manager of the year and his teams play good football, very good at times.
piffer
John Hughes can go f**k himself. Holt for me -
Wrangodog
Gary Holt for me, not just for the Killie connection. He appears to be able to source decent replacements for the players that leave on a small budget. Only stumbling block would be how much compensation Livi would want. Judging by the speed of the sacking the board already have a target.

Mojike and Bod
Gary Holt has more than demonstrated his capabilities and now is his time. No brainer. Get the deal done with Livi and lets not f'k about like we did in the summer. Look at where that got us.

We've been over this in the summer hes not a good manager and leaves clubs worse than he finds them. Not to mention the fact that he constantly wants more money to fix all the mistakes hes made.

If I’d known he’s not a good manager I would never have suggested him.

Massive no from me Smallest budget and squad in the league by a mile. That's what happens with injuries and let's gloss over the fact his team utterly pumped us with ease the other week. He's done a cracking job with Livi and with better players and a bigger budget has the potential to do a great job with us.
DG5
A miracle worker. We are a club with a limited budget. A team of loan players. Possibly going to lose our better players who are soon out of contract. Just hope we don't go down the road of getting a failed numpty because of a past reputation . IE McCann Hughes McCoist etc.

Scouser2
Even with a recent run of results and the stories of unrest ---We are in a far far better position than with previous Managerial changes ---5th in the league --finances looking on a better footing --off the field improvements and structures now in place to assist any Manager can see a lot of Managers being interested in the role
