Very good track record. If we make ‘not being a prick’ a prerequisite of working at the club, it would discount a lot of talented people. I don’t agree with his politics (or the incendiary way he put his point across about them foreigns) but it shouldn’t mean we discount him. I wouldn’t go for him purely because I feel we need stability. A potential 3-5 year appointment as part of the continued rebuild.
Prahakillie
Definite no to Colin. I can't believe he has so many supporters.
PrestersKtid
Warnock's just turned 71, and retired at end of last season. We need some longevity after so many managers in such a short time.

Wrangodog
From all the names being raised and then destroyed on this thread I think we can realise how difficult it is going to be to pick the right person.
Scouser2
Seems the Italian keeper coach has also left or been put on leave as AD confirming below ---- “The backroom for Saturday’s game will be Massimo Donati and Billy Thomson. ..“Billy was the goalie coach under me before. “That was my decision - I want people around me I can trust and feel comfortable with.” Dyer says he won’t apply for the Killie job - but will consider it if the board offer it to him.

Killiepies
Don't know why there's a clamour to appoint some(failed ) lower English league managers with no connections whatsoever to Scottish football .Plenty have came up here and failed but it seems to be the favoured choice .Get sacked from some English club and apply for an SPL job

GrazyKillie
When looking at the Dyer situation there is 2 examples to look at. King Kenny stepping up after Mixu and having a successful time and being a fans favourite and obviously the Cup win Or Locke and McCulloch examples where they were absolutely terrible and didn't seem to be able to shake from the feel of being the players pal as Assistant to being there boss. I think AD works brilliantly as Assistant Manager and is loved by the fans but I would rather we got in a manager with more experience as being boss and having AD as his assistant. I honestly think Holt has done a great job at livi and our current crop of talent would suit his style of play. Holt has had big experience down south with Norwich and seems to be a great coach. My only worry would be that many seem to think David Martindale at Livi has had a lot to do with their success.

Speculation about SODs future. Millen well out of the picture. We are going to have issues at RB very soon. Who else knows how to sign them like Lee does

Ngonge88
I love Alex Dyer and think hes great for the club. But I dont think it should be part of the interview process that he MUST be in the coaching squad.

Three examples if you count Tommy Burns.... loved by the fans and players alike, but knew how to instill his passion to the players in his new role as manager. Probably just wishful thinking from me, because we would all love a return to that strong connection between club and fans we had under TB & SC
