Yes I know that John Henry got three at Morton and Mc Intyre scored the winner in the semi final but when Wright went off and Falkirk had a goal disallowed if it hadn't have been I think we may well have lost. We were riddled with nerves and the momentum was with them. Paul Wright wasn’t fully fit after he’d been injured by some thug at Dunfermline IIRC.
Harrogate Peter
The 90s Dunfermline team were horrible and nominated on dirtiest team ever thread a while back. True Paul Wright was probably only half fit for the final but that doesn't change the fact nobody else could be relied on to score. Really not that different to where we are now unless someone wants to argue that we have no reliable scorers today.

I would agree with that.

JMac was 1 in 4.

chubbs
Think Wright said he had about 20 stitches in that wound because it was so deep.

Harrogate Peter
Thanks for posting but that tackle should have an age restriction. Tod went on to score later and the commentary said goal couldn't be begrudged!! Different times......... well maybe not on the iffy commentary front!

KTID1869fc
I see Queens Park have signed all their first team up to professional contracts today. Think they will get a lift from this, need to be at the races from the get go
skygod
I don’t know how many we gave them, but Queens have sold out their ticket allocation.
Morph
Might be a stupid question but is this included in the season ticket. On the ticketco website it mentions that it is included but they tried to sell me my seat?? -

Mind the colins were raging about that for the 09 replay. We claimed quite the hefty number of comps to keep more cash back.
chubbs
You are allowed to hold back a proportion of the gate, think it is 10% up to a max. Of 1000 tickets-- split50/50 between adult and concessions. It covers comps, season tickets etc

They got 150 in initial allocation as that's all they asked for. They have more now. I'd be amazed if they have more than 300-400 there.

Surprised as he seemed confident they would bring a fair number as the club have new momentum with change of manager, pro contracts etc. Thanks for info.

They won't suddenly get an extra few hundred fans just because they went professional ... and was that not a bit of a paper exercise so they can actually sell players and get another source of income. -
DuncD
Queen’s Park are effectively same standard as a highland / lowland league regardless In last week of being able to hand over a contract. Should be tanning them 4-0 minimum
