Popular Post Dillinger
Tremendous today. Think all of us want it to work out for him. Every time he scores we hope he kicks on, hopefully this will be the one. Completely dragged us back in to it today with a determined solo goal and a great penalty. Shame he never got the hattrick, was clearly on the hunt. Has his critics on here so I hope they're as quick to give him praise.

Ploughs a lone furrow at times. Has to waste that much time running around up front on his own when hes not that kind of player. Confidence has been shot and hes been left taking shots from stupid angles or fluffing the decent chances he has had. With some decent support he can hopefully get back to his old self.

I agree obviously but he's a totally different player running toward goal than he is back to goal. Playing him back to goal playing balls on to him was madness. Talk about not making the most of what you have.
Estragon
He so benefits from having someone alongside him. I thought the organisation of both forwards was excellent this afternoon. Delighted for him.
Jimuck
I m not a Brophy fan, got to admit, today he was excellent however. Maybe it's just having another striker to play alongside. Between him and Rory vying for MOM.
NorfolkG
For me, one of AA’s biggest failings was setting the team up to get almost nothing out of one of our best players. I felt his attitude and effort were still good but that lone striker role in front of three DMs was a real waste.
Steppskillie
Been critical of Brophy in the past but he was very good today. Kabamba playing the central role certainly helps.

PrestersKtid
Did well today, such a difference when he’s not being made to jump for headers he’ll never win. Imo he still needs to time his runs better as he was offside a few times. He also needs to take a second every so often and look for the pass. but he Took his goals well, pleased for him, hopefully the confidence boost he needs.

Rory made a big difference in the middle 4, and today’s starting 11 should be our first choice team. The issue we will face is lack of depth in the squad.

stewarty66
I honestly think the games where he ploughed away himself up front have benefitted him in the long run. Now he has Kabamba beside him he's finding a bit more space. Now if we had a creative no 10 as well in the team he would benefit even more. Also seems less prone to injury than he has been in the past. Edited February 6, 2020 by stewarty66

I don’t think we need it to be honest. Creativity will come from both Kabamba and Brophy. Brophys pass to Burke was sublime. -
