Jedi2
Difficult to call at the moment. The same appetite and application from the last two games, most matches and we have a chance of top 6 yet. Think Wednesday night was a massive result in terms of relegation as an 11 point gap on Hearts and 10 on Hamilton at this stage is very healthy. Although we have a really tough run coming up, they would each have to win 4 games to catch us, which looks less likely. If we can beat St.Mirren and Livi at home, maybe even Hibs and Aberdeen as well, we will be in a good position. Can take points at Hamilton and Motherwell too. So, another 13 or 14 points pre split is possible, and would put us in the mix. Big worry is an injury to Brophy, Kabamba or both, as we have no other forwards, so 7th might be more realisitic. If we can get through against Aberdeen and a decent draw in the next round, at least a Hampden appearance a possibility. 7th would be fine, with pre contracts, and players resigned meantime. maxyboy
Livi and the well will have a blip at some point in the season, can we take advantage when they drop points and beat them when we play them is the biggest factors I feel. Still think the squad has the pedigree to finish as high as 5th this season but it'll take some doing and things going our way with other teams. I think hibs although improved are too inconsistent to really pull away

He is absolutely crucial as he’s the only defender we’ve got that gives us any pace at the back. We miss that so much when he’s not there. Not to mention a much needed goal threat at the other end.
GrazyKillie
I reckon we will be top of the s**te or bottom of the Good teams. Would be great to sneak into the top 6. Especially in place of the Hibees.
gdevoy
If you had asked me jyst after my visit to Perth I would have said we would end the season fighting relegation. It's amazing what 2 games can do, now everybody us thinking about top 6 again. The truth is its too early to say. I'm optimistic that Alex has something but not overly confident.

Richaway
We will win a couple of games and all will be rosy then we’ll lose a couple and we are the worst team in the history of KFC, keeper won’t do, managers not got a clue etc etc. Then we win a couple and all is fine again. Repeat.....

Wee_Eck1979
As soon as we are mathematically safe we need to start a full and comprehensive manager search. Alex Dyer should be considered but we need to cast our net far and wide to see the pedigree of possible candidates.

historyman
Between 7th and 9th I think. As soon as we are safe we should start rebuilding for next year given the number of players who will be out of contract. It would be good to see a few of the youngsters get some first team experience as well. I will feel a lot more relieved once we are safe. The last two games and six points have made a huge difference.

I agree, just take one look at the games they have left before the split and most of them are very tough. If we can manage to win 3/4 of our remaining home games and a couple of away games then they’re definitely catchable

historyman
42 the lowest points we’ve had to get into the top six. I don’t think it will take much more than that to make it this season.
