killie89
It still worries me how reliant we are on Burke. The back 3 (or 5) made us tough to break down, but we had nothing down the flanks the whole game. Hamalainen was non-existent as an attacking threat and SOD wasn’t much better. I know some people seem to get really upset by any negativity but recent evidence suggests we can’t afford to rely on replays. With our best players back I’m confident we can beat them at home, but we could have done it today while they’re in the doldrums. Just needed to be a bit braver.

Every game is a misery to watch and yet they always prevail. The prime example being the 8-man game last season. They were total dog s**t. So a positive result is always well-earned, especially minus two of our best players. Nonsense. That's nowhere near the Aberdeen team of previous seasons.

Ben Reilly
We miss Taylor quite badly on the left. We're quite unbalanced without him pushing up. He knew when to press.

But we are well off the level of previously too. All I’m saying is a draw at Pittodrie is never to be sniffed at, with their long track record of ruining games into submission. And I’m hopeful for the replay.
Popular Post historyman
A draw away from home in the cup against a team above you in the league is always a decent result. Both teams are poorer than they were last season but they are still a club with a far bigger budget than we have so nothing wrong with a draw away from home.

DuncD
Very poor today. Created nothing of note. They should of had a penalty and the fact the vast majority of our fans think it was a good result shows how far our standards of performance have fallen. Great transfer window though so we will be fine -
Ben Reilly
They should have had a penalty but f**k them, Brophy's winner was 3 yards onside in the last replay.
Wrangodog
Road conditions were hellish on the way back, wind died down after Dundee but the rain was torrential nearly all the way home.
Piersquared
I wouldn’t say it was a good result but at least we’re still in the draw. That second half was unplayable with the wind. Embarrassing and both teams hoping to avoid any slips. Aberdeen were dreadful but serious questions to be asked of both fullbacks. SOD has checked out completely. I’d play Gus let alone Millen ahead of him.
Loudoun Killie
Looking at the highlights, Cosgrove should've been booked for a blatant dive......again. Good clever challenge by Nico when Larry saved from Ferguson late on, they'd have scored from a foot out otherwise......

Popular Post Dieter's Heeder
Here's the thing, we drew there in the cup with Clarke courtesy of a penalty. Aberdeen were there for the taking that day too. As they were at RP when we got put out on penalties. As they were earlier in the season at RP when we drew 0-0. As they were at RP when they somehow won 2-1 last season. As they were at RP when we were 1-0 up before bringing Miles Addison on before that. So stop with the pretence that this is a sign of us going downhill. We struggle against them, I don't know why. Conditions by all accounts were s**te (for both teams) and we had key players out. A draw isn't the end of the world, providing we have a right go of it in the replay. Crazy to be dissapointed in that result given the gulf in budgets and players available.
kfc_superteam
Take a draw as let's be honest we were hardly up the park. I don't get this worst Aberdeen team pish. We are miles behind them in the league, so are we the worst kilmarnock team. Mcinnes has skelped us in 23 of the 26 meetings. I don't think they are miles better than us but people seem to think we are going to walk all over them. If we do beat them we will need things to go our way as 23 times they haven't.
IMO
Defo take the draw away from home, crap conditions and missing our 2 best players. Just need to win the replay and put permatan mcinnes out his misery

Popular Post stewarty66
f**k me. In the last 8 days we've taken 6 out 6 points in the league. Yesterday we went to a team that have consistently been in the top 4 for a few seasons, not to mention a bigger budget and been a bogey team for us and come away with a draw and still in the cup. Yet people are still moaning. Yes Aberdeen are not as strong as they have been but we're weaker than last season too, factor in we were minus arguably our 2 best players yesterday and I thought it was a good result from an atrocious game of football. Not to mention some abysmal refereeing decisions against us. Last season we went there in the league and were equally as negative and got the same result but there was nowhere near the amount of whinging on here. Lighten up. We have been through a bad spell but now gone 3 unbeaten and still in the cup. There is no doubt we are short of players and the transfer window was underwhelming but I'll take a result and performance away from like yesterday every time rather than the dross I watched us produce at St Mirren in December.
