Like to see exactly the same starting lineup but can see the temptation to rotate ahead of Aberdeen.

Looking at the fixtures, the match we should be targeting to rest players is Celtic on Sunday week.

After a hard match, and possibly extra time, against Aberdeen we should stand down a few of the old guard in a match where we can't reasonably expect to pick up three points.

Tough game, reckon they're still very inconsistent even though their form of late has been decent. Don't gift them any easy chances and we've a good chance at home for another win on the trot potentially huge game in the run in, to finish top 6 we've got to take advantage of playing at home in 4 of the final 7 league games. Can see it being down to at home to livi on the last day right enough

See what your saying, would love to take points of the other cheek as always but agree the other two games would seem ‘more winnable’

A changed up team would have the added benefit of fuelling the Sevco conspiracy theories, The utter meltdown from them after last night has been a delight.

I was thinking this as well, although it wouldn't be a popular opinion, we have a small squad and a hard run of games, I'd definitely rest some of them at Parkhead with a view to taking points in the rest of them. Ideally we would have a big enough squad to cope but it's a lot of football playing 7 games in 3 weeks for the squad we have,.

if we're going to do that I'd prefer it if we get some notice before spending £30 on a ticket.

Wasn’t too impressed by McNulty last year , Stu will have him in his pocket all game .

‘Would take Scott Allan though , he’s exactly the type of player we’re missing.

A Killie win by the now famous 2 v 1 margin

And I won’t even panic should we lose the 1st goal .

You sometimes hear the view that players prefer playing games to training and you can train lightly just to keep them ticking over.

Hibs are going to be good going forward but they're going to be ropey at the back. McNulty and Doidge seem to be working well and they have Allan playing behind them. Their midfield could potentially have Docherty, Omeonga, Boyle. They've definitely got decent strength. The problem for them is that they're not too hot at the back, guys like Hanlon and McGinn are unspectacular and they've got Marciano in nets who can be rotten at times.

I think they've been playing three at the back to accommodate their stronger forward players so if that creates room for Burke and SOD to get in at them then we will cause them problems. Key is probably Power and Dicker keeping them quiet in the middle of the park. Good organisation, good shape and take our chances when they come along.

Marciano nearly every time he plays against us, is outstanding.

Hope this doesn't continue on sunday though.
