piffer
Mass exodus of players in the summer and a chance the manager could walk now?A lot of players in that group won’t want to be out of the champions league for a sustained period of time. Plenty of clubs willing to take their top talent. Guardiola has admitted he's desperate to win the big one again and appears to have admiring glances from Turin

CSI Kilmarnock
It would seem that Man U has self-imposed the same absence, presumably in a gesture of solidarity ... PSG have one of the largest budgets in football and iirc were in the top ten of football club turnover . Man City are relatively newcomers to the party . Also PSG are the most successful team in France with 35 titles . Edited February 15, 2020 by Bonbon19 New fact

Graeme S
This could be the end of the EPL as we know it?Depending on how far UEFA take things it could lead to the departure of top players from a number of teams leading to Sky not paying OTT as they presently do. Alternatively it will be overturned on appeal and things will carry on as per? Has anyone got any well informed articles on the current situation they could share?

Won’t be the end of the EPL, just the end of plastic FC. I read that city players could effectively just walk away for free due to their contracts. I’d imagine CL bonuses n that will be affected etc.

But they are absolutely a proper club with really hardcore fans. Similar in many ways to Chelsea and the money from Abramovic. The power in English football.has for the past 60years sat with Man United and the bin dippers. All that could happen is that s**tty may drop back down a level or two short term. The purchase of city by in effect the state was for the state purposes and normalisation of their nation and not sporting purposes. -

Your the sensitive one, instead of accepting our superiority to everyone else in English football you fall back on slagging the poverty of the city. Weirdo.
