Changes to offsides

"At present, a player is offside if any part of their body with which they can score is ahead of the last defender.

Wenger suggested amending the law so that "you will not be offside if any part of the body that can score a goal is in line with the last defender, even if other parts of the attacker's body are in front"."

That clears it up then.

The only change I’d make is to bin the not interfering with play guidelines. How can someone partially blocking the view of the keeper be considered not to be interfering with play, while at the other end of the spectrum you can be played onside by a defender lying injured out by the corner flag? Let’s make offside black or white again.

Bill Shankly once memorably said, "If he is on the park and has an opposition jersey on then he is interfering with play".

Just scrap it altogether, or at the very least, only in the box.  The game is about scoring goals so anything that reduces the number scored should be binned.
