Conservative govt repeatedly claim to be fighting the establishment.

Owen Paterson, the Tory Brexiter and former cabinet minister, says the policies being pursued by Priti Patel were supported by voters. He says she is being victimised because she is implementing policies opposed by the establishment.

The Tory MP Robert Halfon says Priti Patel is hiring 20,000 more police officers and creating a new immigration system. He says the allegations against her contain a “nasty whiff of an establishment who are trying to stop these policies”.

Gove says Halfon is making a good point.

Priti clearly has her supporters:

Mark Francois, the Tory Brexiter, says Priti Patel is an “excellent and dynamic home secretary”

Sir Bill Cash, the Tory Brexiter, has just defended Priti Patel, saying civil servants must carry out the will of the people. He was the third Tory backbencher to do so. Earlier John Redwood said Patel should be allowed to get on with the job, and Julian Lewis said Patel was an “iron lady” like Margaret Thatcher, who was also a victim of sexism.

and the witch hunt begins:

Rob Butler, a Conservative, asks what the government will do to ensure civil servants are accountable and are held to be accountable.

Richard Fuller, a Conservative, says ministers have the right to expect a basic level of competence from their civil servants.

Adam Afriyie, a Conservative, asks if there will be an investigation into the leaks against the home secretary.

The Tory government IS the effin Establishment FFS.

All this horsehit right now is nothing more than The Establishment trying to kick away the last of the post-war settlement.

Basically the Establishment conscripted the population to protect it from the Germans. Many, many ordinary people lost their lives, many many more body parts and many many more their sanity. Fearing a Russian style revolution when the Army was de-mobilised the Establishment introduced the Welfare State. NHS, out of work benefits and a host of other benefits for the part of society they had earlier thrown under a bus to protect their way of life.

In the 80s Thatcher decided enough was enough and started a process of dissolving said benefits. This process was carried on by Blair and Cameron privatising everything, introducing fees for education, starving the NHS of funds. But the process was deemed to slow and clearly the EU was a major impediment to its progress. That's why we are no longer in the EU.

Now the only barriers to dragging the UK back to its former imperial glory are the UK Civil Service. People need to wake up and read the thoughts of Chairmin Dom.

Same tactics as Trump when he arrived in the White House and basically kicked out a lot of the civil servants who had been running the country for years, and replaced them with people (experts) like Trump Jr and Ivanka.

From the BBC regarding the drip feed of stories about the current Home Secretary:

A source from the Conservative Party told Newsnight: "What we are seeing is a concerted effort by certain sections of the civil service to undermine a home secretary trying to deliver what people want on crime and immigration.

So there you have it folks. The Tories are the voice of the people fighting "The Establishment". Who was it that said, "if you are going to tell a lie, tell a big lie"?

And here it is folks, proof that the BBC is in the thick of the whole sordid propaganda mess.
