If only we had kept the Italian lee Clark in charge. We would have 100% no doubt about it bang on the verge of another European run under him. Maybe we would have got papped out by linfield next season. -

The Italian Lee Clark- does that make AD the English Gary Locke and Broadfoot the Poundland Del Fabro?

Malkmus
With 15 losses already this season I think its safe to say we're back to the bad old days of looking over the shoulder for the rest of the drosses results. A spectacular plummet by anyone's standards.

Obviously you don't understand what a "six-pointer" is when it comes to football. Looks like we might not have to wring out our knickers just yet. killieinkirkie
Three St Mirren players subbed due to injury hopefully that might help on Saturday looking for plusses anywhere!

gdevoy
Looks like the Jambos are toast. They need 2 wins more than Hamilton from now till the end of the season just to make the playoffs. We, on the other hand, have a really tough game on Saturday to put all this nonsense to bed...…... mitch14
The positive in that result is that a win on Saturday should mean a playoff is absolute worst case scenario for us... Massive game

Bbk
Lots of doom and gloom on this forum bet a few of the other teams in the bottom 6 would love to be in our position with 8 games to play.Sure it is a massive fall from grace following on from last season but hopefully we will not be involved in the bottom two places.

Scouser2
We are in a far better position than bottom 3 --given all the teams will have to play each other after the split 6 points in next 3 games and we will be safe even if in bottom 6 IMO Hertz are in some mess--still--- had so many false dawns of winning a game then falling flat ----still would be a shame to lose them out of the league as good away day
KennyH80
Saturday was always going to be big, but its massive now. Hope the players don't crack!

As they say on Ice Road Truckers, "its all about momentum", and right now that is something we don't have. We have the points but can we grind out a result? Any result would be a success on Saturday IMO. A win would be nice but our current direction of travel is not encouraging.

Got a few results earlier on in 50 / 50 games that went against us latterly. They have. 10 points since middle of December illustrates that. With that form we'd be rock bottom without our early season points.

I agree we have got worse but my point is that the assessment of the degree to which that has happened has been obscured by the fact that early on we were just downright lucky several times (for example, 2-0 down, getting a goal back just before half time against Hamilton with a hideous deflection from a speculative punt when we were not really threatening) and after 11 games opponents have us sussed. We did, fortunately, pick up points early on which may prove vital but I am not convinced that had AA remained in charge that we would be significantly better off.

I think it's a bit of a stretch calling it a success beating a poor St Mirren side at home, we beat them earlier in the season at home with 63% possession. It's more of a concern that this is now a big game.
