gdevoy
Ann Budge announces serious cuts to Tynecastle spending. Surely one or two others cant be far behind.
fraz65
The first of many. We're lucky that we have so few players under contract and that we sacked Alessio.
fraz65
If an English club offered money for Brophy or Findlay it could see us come through this.

I thought perhaps those with TV money but you may well be right.
cammy_boy
It would be wildly irresponsible to spent any non essential cash by any club just now.

Norwegian FA were supposedly planning on going to FIFA looking for them to amend the transfer system for a period of time. Some countries have clauses in contracts if there is no football for a period of time then contracts are void. This current situation could potentially change the transfer market. Strengthen the rich clubs and make everyone else weaker. On the other side teams will be scrambling for cash and possibly willing to settle for less

IMO this move from Hearts is about more than struggling over the next few weeks/months without games. For me they are looking at ways to reduce the wage bill long term and possibly get out of contracts. Some interesting comments from the PFA on the situation.
harley
Hearts supporters must be livid at the way Budge & her cronies have spunked away 100s of thousands of pounds that they have donated to their club. Total waste of their generous donations. Made it far to easy for the board and all it has got them is relegated & probably bankrupt again. Should have stabilised the club before they spent millions they didn’t have on the new stand & crazy inflated players wages.
