Voted for the away top.

I did too. It had really nice grey stripe detail that kit, which you can't really see in the pic. Detailed but not too fussy with it like the 97 home kit as sky god pointed out. But that crayon style, revised AT MAYS logo was always pretty awful compared to the older one on the home kit.

Home kit, by a country mile.

There were 2 versions of that home kit. One pictured above, but in the  same year as the away kit, the home kit had a LCS logo, with the crayon AT Mays logo and SPL patches.  The original Matchwinner version pictured above  is the better of the 2  - IMO!

It is more grey than silver then.

You were right man. Though its probably more metallic on the stripes than actual silver!  Certainly had lighter, silver stitching in (or underneath) the collar.  The best ever away kit, no question!  If only cos it's the home kit, but in different colours!

Is that 3 seasons. Sorry for being thick

95-96 and 96-97.  97-98 it was the bright yellow 'sports division' away kit.  I needed to google (and find a youtube away game at parkheaed in Nov 1997) for that info though..

After a quick Google , we were in the Korean cup year before cup win, 1995? sorry just memory playing up

Korean kit wasn't worn much. Vs Celtic at home in 95 at least.

The only instances I can find are

Rio de Janeiro Select

1995/96

QoS (A) Friendly

Falkirk (H)

Celtic (H)

The red & grey top was worn usually with navy shorts but, on at least one occasion each, red and white.

Looks from this that it was at least registered in 96/97.
