My parents bought it and I paid them back at £2 a week until the debt was paid. Sometimes it’s not about the design, but about the memories. It had really nice grey stripe detail that kit, which you can't really see in the pic. Detailed but not too fussy with it like the 97 home kit as sky god pointed out. But that crayon style, revised AT MAYS logo was always pretty awful compared to the older one on the home kit. skygod
I voted for it too. I would say the stripes were silver with a herring-bone pattern, from memory. The red was a nice shade too. Superior away kit.

One pictured above, but in the same year as the away kit, the home kit had a LCS logo, with the crayon AT Mays logo and SPL patches. The original Matchwinner version pictured above is the better of the 2 - IMO! Edited April 15, 2020 by RAG

skygod
It is more grey than silver then. Definitely quite inventive for a change kit.

Though its probably more metallic on the stripes than actual silver! Certainly had lighter, silver stitching in (or underneath) the collar. The best ever away kit, no question! If only cos it's the home kit, but in different colours! Edited April 15, 2020 by RAG
