Shropshire_killie
I recall many years ago, Sunday Scotsport putting crowd noise over Scottish match. Arthur Montford commentating. It was in a bid to make it seem like more atmosphere than the paltry attendance. Was dreadful. Cant recall who was playing.
dasboag
I'd like that Hummel kit for our away that Jeonbuk are wearing - but in 'Killie yellow' and with blue shorts, blue and white on those two thin stripes at the badge. would be a belter.

piffer
Strange watching this with no fans especially when you know the atmosphere that stadium can produce
Scouser2
It is strange seeing the huge stadiums empty and with it the lack of atmosphere when usually would be a cauldron of noise and colour ......but good to see some football back, though feels rather soulless without fans .Does give some hope though Germany has been seen to have coped and done far better in dealing with this horrendous virus lot of other countries will be watching on with interest to learn lessons how closed door games can be handled even with next season in mind , hopefully this way of having games played will be over ASAP and fans can return Edited May 16, 2020 by Scouser2
Scouser2
Couple of weekends now of live football from German leagues . Looks likely that this will soon be followed by coverage of Spanish and Italian top leagues ....and then coverage of at least the EPL and possibly English championship too.....so will be some TV Live football on right up to end of July, for those with access to the TV providers involved.(IMO should be stipulated that some EPL games are made free to air due to the circumstances ) Seen a couple of the German games and it is a very different experience often strange to get used too without the atmosphere and noise if supporters involved...but with prospect ATM of no crowds allowed till end of the year it is I suppose somewhat better than having no live football to watch. If our league does start up around August and each game is available might be more interest and involvement when your own team is on

Zorro
I watched 30 minutes last week. Gave up and had a nap instead. I don’t think even Killie games would interest me with this setup.

Watching a bit of the Bundesliga, it's the echo's in the stadium from the players that make it not seem like a 'real' game. Is like sitting at the sidelines during a 5 a side game played in a cathedral! I'd bet they'll have canned crowd noise when the EPL goes behind closed doors. Even fake noise would make it sound more like an authentic game.

Its not that uncommon in some countries. In Kiev at the Scotland match a few years back they played crowd noises through the speakers to make it seem more intimidating atmosphere than what it was.
Zorro
We should hold a competition to get fans to record some random shouts to make us feel more at home. Stuff like “get it forward”, “Stop fannying about at the back”, “Dyer, get a sub on”, “insert refs name here you’re s**te”...the usual stuff.

gdevoy
Or as one of the cheer leaders sitting in front of me at the Celtic game we won 1-0 remarked as the ball bounced around on the edge of our area, "JUST f**kING HOOF IT!" Sucinct and to the point.
