I see we're been linked with Jamie Robson 22yo left back at Dundee Utd his family are apparently Killie fans and Matty Kennedy which I find bizarre as he only joined Aberdeen in January.

The Jamie Robson Family connection to Killie is correct. Pretty sure its been mentioned before.

Do his family not own/did own a hotel near Dundee?

He's played 95 games in 3 years for Dundee Utd and is only 22, exactly the type of player Fowler & Dyer spoke about, young but with experience.

Hopefully he will be able to handle the step up to the top flight if its true we are linked with him.

We badly need a couple of centre halves, attacking mid, left back, winger or 2 and a decent striker, not too much to ask. Winger a priority imo, teams severley lacks pace and we cant go a season with burke and mckenzie as first choice wingers

Since we are building a squad on a tight budget we won’t be going for all those players. Dyer has already mentioned 2 GK’s (specialised position). IMO we need to be clever and sign some versatility, ie we need a CB x 2, LB x 1, LW x 1, CF x 1. Dicker can be used as the 4th CB so if we bought someone who can fill CB and LB then we only need to purchase one defender, We badly need a quick LW and if we sign one who is able to fill in up front then we don’t need to buy a Striker.

We are playing a 4-4-2 so no need to buy an AM.

I'd imagine we will bring in two keepers, a centre back, a left back (or maybe just a centre back knowing we can play Findlay left if needed) and maybe a third striker.

We have Thomas, Kiltie, McKenzie and Burke on the wings so don't see us adding there.

As others have mentioned Dicker as the fourth centre back if needed will be fine.

We will have a very small squad but we won't be alone in that.

Kennedy would be a big no from me. An expensive wide player is about the last thing I think would be on the list. Plus he is a wee classless SevCo nyaff.

As others have said two decent goalies, a first choice left back, at least one first choice centre back, a potential first choice striker and a squad midfield player would all come before a wide player in the very long queue.

I think a left winger will be a target. Bunn being brought in to play there previously suggests that is an area Dyer is looking at. Thomas, Burke and McKenzie all better on the right.

Record saying Demetri Mitchell released by Manchester United and of interest to a number of Scottish clubs after his previous loan at Hearts. Take it with a large pile of salt given the source but wonder if he’s a type who would interest us. Can’t remember seeing much of him at Hearts.

Really good the first time around, pish the second time around. But there's talent there.

Brilliant in his first spell, shockingly bad on his return. I think he had quite bad injuries during both spells.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson , left back just been released by Man Utd too. Broke into first team under Van Ghal , won young player of the year. Never kicked on, spent last couple of seasons down the english leagues on loan. Worth a punt

I doubt he would fit into our wage structure but he would be a great signing for us.

Was hopeless at Leeds on loan.

Everyone was dodgy at Leeds before Bielsa.

TBH he hasn't covered himself in glory the last couple of seasons so wouldn't be demanding high wages, but he would have to prove himself rather than sign him on the Man Utd factor.

Give me a dodgy Pablo Hernandez then.

Craig Gordon suggesting a number of Scottish clubs after him. Would hope we are one of those clubs

Jambos definitely. If he'wants a return to the Scotland team' I'd suggest he'd be better off at a top league club.

Daily Record -

Former Kilmarnock keeper Daniel Bachmann has revealed he has loan offers from clubs in Scotland after admitting this season at Watford had been a waste.

The Austrian goalkeeper impressed during a loan spell at Rugby Park last season, but had to settle for playing back-up to Ben Foster this season at Watford.

He’s just signed a new four-year deal at the English Premier League club but is set to go out on loan next season. And the 25-year-old could be returning north of the border.
