  1. They will have to spend big for the next manager. The "show us your medals"gang will want a big ex player to keep the Ibrox tradition going. Yes I know that most of the ex-players will fall into"the big" category. Have you seen the size of McCoist recently?
  2. Need to go back a long time for this one. Current side is gradually becoming like the Willie Waddell sides of the sixties. Very difficult to score against. Strong in the midfield and good upfront. Get a goal and let the opposition try to get an equaliser and hitt them on the break.
  3. Must be Tiny Wharton. Never moved outside the centre circle.
  4. D M team talk.......You did well on Wednesday so I am changing the team again.

    VAR

Surely we must be making arrangements to have a panel to oversee the performance of the VAR bunker and another to monitor the input of the wannabee refs on the terracing. Since the majority of the occupants in the VAR bunker are assumed to be the best officials, what is it doing to the referees assigned to the lower leagues. The standard must be poorer than ever as any ref will be dragged through the leagues before they are ready.
  6. Half a dozen passes across midfield, no one skilled enough to run through. Surely one of the midfield can get out and help the strikers. Ball goes back to central defenders to hoof the ball again. Strikers watch as it flies out the park. Some of the team don;t have the basic skills to control a ball. What do these players do to impress DM at training.
  7. Why can't he pick a team and stick with it for a few games. Just now its throw the names in a hat and let the tea lady pick a selection.
  8. I'm beginning to despair of ever seeing DM put out a competitive team in the league. Change, change, change every starting eleven. Change , change, during the game and nobody has a clue what their role is in the team to dictate the tempo. Usual attempt to hold out as long as possible and get a doing anyway.
  9. Any strange faces spotted with bucket and spade en route to Spain.
  10. Why can't they get a man with a red flag to walk in front of the car to alert people that it is coming. I think it has been tried before with some success. ?
  11. Yet another glorious failure. Another to the list of no shows when they needed to turn up. Better turn up against A"r United.
  12. Looking forward to a good spat between Shaw and Lafferty when the next penalty comes along. ☺️
  13. Get a big guy 6' 8", 30 stone. Tell him he is authorised to come off his line and kill any of the opposition in the six yard box. This will solve a few of our keeper problems ?
  14. Surely if he was that unfit, he would fail his medical? We still do medicals yet?
  15. Looks as if he needs a few fish suppers.
  16. Main battle will be combating Ashcrofts power in the air and Adam picking holes in the already threadbare defence.
  17. Took off in the direction of the dugouts pointing and shouting. Lafferty showed a good turn of pace, caught him and turned him away. Can only think TW was the target as the other two muppets never get off their seats. Something was bugging him but unfortunately the tv coverage didn't show any reaction from the touchline.
  18. The present Mulumba is a plodder in a midfield of plodders. Too much of his game is focused on bailing out Power and Dicker. He plays up against the defence, passes the ball sideways and doesn't have the legs to get forward and supply the strikers and loses the ball in bad positions. There is no doubt he has been a class player, but he doesn't have the mobility to cover over the cracks which are beginning to show. Oh to have had the previous Mulumba paired with Lafferty.
  19. He's just limped into the park ........... with a big smile on his face. methinks Laff is having a Laff.
  20. TW needs to explain why he picks Power and Dicker to start every game and gives them 90 mins. Must be the worst midfield in the league. Yet another game when the midfield was surrendered early on.
  21. The more I see of Pinnock, the more I'm convinced there is a player in there. I think he has found a settled position in the team which he is comfortable with and is in the team on merit.
  22. Looks like TW has spent a lot of time assessing the commitment of the players and has been able to finger one or two as not giving their all and others who do not meet the standard. It will be interesting to see the "committed" line up which takes the field against Motherwell. There may be more than a few substitutes and fringe players for whom the penny hasn't dropped yet. I don't think TW is the type of manager to wait too long for them to "turn up". Its a pity, given our current situation, that we might need to call on some of them to play in the remaining fixtures.
  23. Good to see some variation in corner and free kick routines.
