  1. Jeezo. By your post you yourself have made a political comment. The fella’s profile pic is the size of a pin - was it really worth your opinion? The stupidest, crassest comment I’ve seen on these forums, ever.
  2. Always remember the Falkirk classic: Big wheel, we’ve got a f***in big wheel ... So, s**te pitch, we’ve got a f***in s**te pitch
  3. There was a recent champions league game, Ajax I think, but no sure, and the whole crowd had aw different coloured bibs on. Meant that whatever was being displayed lasted whole game - looked uffy good. arrive at the gemme, bib’s on yer seat, pop it on, there ye go
  4. Did Tom McDonald not play for us? He had a stupid, of its time haircut that day. I seem to remember his gesture too, followed by chorus of ‘who’s the clown who cut your hair?’, followed by him losing it and kicking a few. Off he went.
  5. ... and "no one likes us, we don't care"? That is a HUN attitude. Is it no human nature to want to be liked tae be liked, even just a wee bit and care? There must be something else we could sing at that bit. We need rid of any possible connection, however spurious - and tell everybody exactly what we're doing and why.
  6. ... and I do the same but am becoming increasingly uncomfortable with it. Hello hello is a Hun tune. We should stop it forthwith - and promote that we have done so as a protest. A mean, c'mon, 'knees in blood ... surrender ... die'. These are Hun terms, sung over a Hun tune - full or anger and hate. We are better than that. The newer songs are so much beter, joyful, celebratory. I have sung my last hello hello.
  7. I was there the night, I'm up early the morra and should be in bed but I'm too angry to sleep. Tonight was horrible, it does make you look at the society we live in and think f*ck this. Institutional corruption indeed - with sectarianism thrown in just for show. Clarke shoulda taen them aff along with Bachmann, and we shoulda aw walked oot.
  8. One that always springs to mind for me, a visible and audible one, was that shocking early Billy Abercrombie tackle (or rather assault) on Gordon Wylde at Firhill way back. A tackle that saw an immediate red for Abercrombie, and the end of a promising career for Wylde. I still wince when I think about it.
  9. What about Davie McFarlane? On his loan spell fae the Huns did he not wallop in a belter away to Airdrie - sure that was his debut. They we signed him, and he was terrible - £100k? (A last gesture made by the pre-Fleeting board).
  10. Ha, I laughed at many of these posts ... the pain, the despair, the bewilderment. They'd drive ye up the wa'. They don't like fitba, they crave being in charge. Over the years I get less angry at them, and was only aff ma sait twice on Saturday. I helps if ye jist laugh: treat the baffling reality that wully, and his like, have made it to the top of their profession as one of life's unknowables- like is there a god, like what's in a black hole, or like is there actually a meaning to aw this? His face at the sending aff though. He absolutely loved it, he couldnae, psychologically, stop himself. If we could only just get it thegither to laugh, to gaffaw, in reaction to his howler's - 3,500 folk laughing at him? he woulnae like that, it would pit him aff. He'd resign, take a holiday, and have a long hard look at himself. From Referee recruitment at the SFA: "Refereeing can be a highly rewarding challenge, encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle as well as significantly contributing to the development of the game." Open to interpretation?
  11. One of the pictures is of the crowd only - looks like it's at that moment of mock Ole! after we scored. It's a good photo If you ever liked playing 'where's wally ': where's the hun? See how they lurk amongst us? how many can you spot?
  12. Thoroughly enjoyable evening: good few songs, good patter roon-a-boot, exit with a smile on ma face. But, there was a guy near me shouting "tattie munchers", an "fenians" and such other hunnish remarks. Is it just me or is that kind of s**te no wholly unacceptable fae a killie fan? Did we no, the whole crowd, stand at ibrox singing "Ayrshire Huns are unacceptable "? The fella needs tae mibby just go tae his Govan spiritual home.
  13. Being a killie fan is special to me because: It expresses a refusal to be polarised - to be beyond the norm. To me every howl of anger and pain from a killie fan is a howl of anger and pain for minorities across the globe - as, too, those all too infrequent moments of sheer, uncontrollable joy (from Burke's last minute equaliser against the Huns, to Big D's winner against sellic) are the celebration of the underdog and the downtrodden - moments when you truly know what it is to be alive! It is not easy being addicted to, or perchance obsessed with, a wee team: I have been going since I was a boy, I have passed this addiction to my eldest son - I have often apologised to him for this. But it's really all about who you are is it not? As Sailor (Nic Cage) said in 'Wild at Heart': "Did I ever tell ya that this here jacket represents a symbol of my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom?" Good readin aw yer posts
  14. It seems like week in, week oot, year in, year oot, that I leave the fitba baffled and enraged by a referee. I often hear shouts of fury and exasperation that "it's no about you!" A think it is though. A don't actually think that referees in this country even like fitba, but they love, to the very fibre of their being, being in charge - or just being right. ye canny but help think John Knox, the Elect, the wee Free: rule books and cairds instead o bibles. The only competent wans a remember was when they wur aw oan strike and they aw flew in fae Israel a think, or there aboots.
