  1. The players you mention weren’t world beaters. However for what I can remember they tried and gave a commitment over ability. The majority of this lot aren’t doing any of that. They’re shirkers and aren’t working hard enough. That’s why I’m angry.
  2. I would make them all watch the recording of the whole game tomorrow morning to show how crap they are. The cup final would have been a great day out. However that’s not why I’m so angry. There were far too many players not giving effort tonight.
  3. It’s the gutless performance and a real anger that yet another manager can’t get it working.
  4. This is DM’s team, his tactics, his selection. His responsibility. He has no one to blame but himself. It’s his job to get them motivated and working. Total embarrassment and we’ll done Raith. I agree that it is the worst squad I’ve ever seen in 45 years of watching Kilmarnock.
  5. We’re just absolute s**te as a whole. What an absolutely disgusting performance from a team of so called professionals. Apart from Walker they should all be ashamed of themselves. How many chances will Murray get from our Manager? Don’t even get me started about Shaw.
  6. I was wondering where the big man has been. Is it a coincidence that the busty barmaid from the Imperial bar in Dumfries has not been seen or heard from recently either? Last time I seen him in there he fancied his chances. Maybe his luck has changed.
  7. I agree. What frustrates me is that it seems all our failings are the managers fault. When it’s their signings then fine. When we have a manager trying to pick up and motivate a squad of players signed by others and supported by a few signings of his own, then I find it hard to be too critical. Yes it’s his team and his choices. He’ll take the blame., but honestly give the guy a chance. If we continue to dispense with managers then we’ll go nowhere fast
  8. Tolerate or accept criticism? It’s not about me. We can keep chopping and changing managers on a whim. It’s fine to question any manager’s credentials. However when you are dealt a bad hand and at the same time your CV says your not that bad at what you do, why on earth would you start criticising the manager - no matter who they are? We are a car crash of a club with a new manager. Hopefully by the end of the season both parties have what they’re looking for. Promotion and a manager who can still cut it.
  9. I am at a loss with people who want to question our managers and their ability, whoever they are. We have been a car crash of a club with decision after decision made by our custodians and the appointed person / manager continually goes to the sword. What are we meant to do, continually dispense with so called incompetent management teams, or actually try and work through the dross?
  10. You’re either at the wind up or your a crackpot.
  11. I met Ken Eadie a couple of years ago at a charity golf tournament in Millport. I ended up having a beer with him and chewed the fat over his time at Kilmarnock. He has very fond of his time with us and was disappointed that he had to leave. He left purely for football reasons. I think it was the signing of Brian Gallagher that put him further down the pecking order. He said that he signed after playing as a trialist against QP at Hamden. He was asked to play as a centre back / centre half as they didn’t have anyone for that position. He said to JIm Clunie he would play anywhere. He said he had a decent game and by the following week was offered a contract. He came across as a really nice guy. I certainly liked him as a player.
  12. Same. 83-84 Season. Barry Holland and Lenny Lowe were in the same class at Ayr College as me when I was an apprentice.
  13. The Globe in Market Square is owned by John Nisbet (I think that’s his name) originally Stewarton. He’s had the pub a very long time.
